A great watch. Has great functions, the best of which (at least for me) include the stopwatch, compass, and altimeter. Easy to use, and looks quite nice as well. Has a great red, back-lit night-time or darkness read-out too! I used to have a Tissot Rock Watch, and it was very dependable. Would recommend this watch to anyone. Only drawback is that, depending on the time of day, the dial arrows sometimes obstruct an accurate readout during the stopwatch function.

Frist of all, I think this is same as mine, but newer...
Battery lasted 5 years and another five. I've had watch about 10. There is a way to sync the hands; look at manual online or read your own.

The jewelry store sent mine to Tissot as the altimeter stopped functioning I cant say for sure, but about time it was having new battery. The jeweler says Tissot said NOT repairable; I am not happy.
They said new one is $895, and they'll off me a trade-in of $400; so I can have new for $495. I am floored.
    I'd buy here!
Or I have relatives planning a cruise in May, and I could ask them to research in St. Thomas, USVI.....

It was not an Amazon purchase, but a "reputable" jewelry store an hour drive from where we are!

Initial impressions: watch definitely lives up to its feature set. I'm very happy with it. Seems like all sensors operate all the time. The watch provides instant feedback regardless of sensor choice. I especially like the barometer trend indication from the hands. Makes me wonder how long the battery will last. One thing for me to get used to, this watch is twice the thickness of my old one and I sometimes bump into stuff with it. Weight of the stainless steel is not noticeable.

First of all, don't be fooled by the photo. All those features make this watch enormous! It's got to be almost a half inch thick and it weighs my wrist down big time. Second, the features are nice, and I really have no complaints about them. It's just that this thing doesn't have the fit and finish you would want in something this expensive. The features are supposed to be an addition to the watches quality, not the feature of it. For example, the hour and minute hands don't even line up properly. I don't know about you, but that bugs me more than I can stand. What that means is, say it's 1200 or 2400. Hour and Minute hands are supposed to be perfectly in line with each other and pointing perfectly straight at the "12" together. However, the two hands are pointing at different angles and they don't seem to line up with the "1,2,3,etc" hour hashes as neatly as you would expect from a $575 watch. My $100 Fossil does this, but that's because IT'S ONLY $100.

Maybe I got a rare defective one, but still, that kind of quality control is just sad.
