If you want watch to be really precise, go for quartz. But If you are reading this, that mean you are looking for somewhat classic mechanical marvel of craft.
There are 2 types of caliber used in SEASTAR 1000: one is traditional caliber 2824 (say automatic on dial) with standard somewhat 40 hours power reserve and ( the one I got) is Powermatic 80 = with 80 hours power reserve – you can take off watch on Friday and Monday morning they still ticking. This is re-designed caliber – the efforts were taken to make 80 hours: the oscillation frequency was reduced, jewels reduced from 25 to 23 and few plastic super slippery parts introduced to reduce power consumption. Also surprisingly – no regulator to adjust precision – all done at factory. Lower oscillation frequency also should lead to less accuracy. But Tissot claiming new caliber total design provides better accuracy – and so far as I can see this is true – accuracy is actually better comparing traditional mechanical design of watches of the same class or above.
4 stars: rubber band is OK but somewhat not matching good quality / style of watch.

Fantastic watch only issue is at the time of purchase it wasn't clear on the size a little small on the dail. They make two watches with the same face.Published 23 months ago by Mike Giannos
