I've gone through so many flex pits because they all kink and break when too much torque is applied, when this flex bit kinks it always takes its shape back, I Love It
I've had other flex bits fling my nut drivers across an attic because they don't want to stay bent while drilling
I can bend this at a 90 degree angle and it stays there, you can use this with one hand.
Locking bit holder with quick release is a nice feature
I'd buy this again even if I broke mine
Only draw back I find is that the head is much larger than that of a conventional flex bit
I pair this with my Dewalt flex drivers and that's all I need to take apart a unit
Very reliable tool for the price
The Titan only works with hex drive bits and you have to pull on the chuck to get it to hold and release a bit. You can, of course, use chuck with a hex drive adapter if you don't have a hex drive drill bit of the diameter you need.
Because it's heavy-duty, the Titan is long (13") and bulky (15/16" max diameter; 9/16" shaft casing diameter). The size limits its usefulness in some confined spaces. It also means that you're not going to pick this puppy up unless you really need it
Bendy - It bends all over the place.
Spinny - It spins well enough to transfer torque to the bit.
Quick change - The quick change mechanism is easy and intuitive. Grips bits well.
Ruggedness - I don't think this will hold up to drilling right-angle holes frequently. I don't think it's impact rated.
I don't use this every day, but it sure eliminates a lot of hassle when I need it. I recommend this to others.
Maybe I'm not using it right, but it comes with no instruction. It should be pretty self explanatory, but maybe not?
