1 Titanfall need to do a better job of making teams even. I could be wrong with this but it seems that Titanfall is alway one sided until someone leaves the match.
2. Connection issues can really mess up a match. This will happen at least once without a doubt.
3.Did I mention I hate the concept of the Smart pistol, but maybe it's because I'm terrible at using it.
I think this game has a lot of promise and when Titnafall 2 comes out most of these gripes will be answered. I love this game more than Call of Duty. Call of Duty never made me feel comfortable playing because you could sit any where and pop shots. While in Titanfall you are always moving which is perfect. Enjoy!
While this game isn't AWFUL, it's not what it's hyped up to be. It's a good pick-me-up game for people who aren't really good at shooters (I'm not even going to start on the stupid names for the gamemodes--"hardpoint domination"...REALLY? good___joke). In a year, I'd be surprised if this game is still popular; it's already dying down as it is.
Not to mention this game does not support multi gpu and it uses WAY too much vram to look decent. That and terrible servers really sap this game of its potential.
I will say this - the developers deserve a pat on the back. This was a feat to pull off and have run this well. Sure, there is some smoke and mirror because they throw bots in to make it feel like there are more players than there really are, but it is still impressive from a purely technical point of view.
Pros
-It is pretty to look at
-Sound is really nice
-It runs well
Cons
-Gets repetitive very quickly
-Story line is essentially non-existent
-very shallow gameplay. Only a few modes and they are similar
-Small maps
-overpriced
If you loved the multiplayer in Call of Duty 4, give this game a try. The former Infinity Ward members, now at Respawn Entertainment, did a great job building a multiplayer environment that is both fast paced and addicting (just like CoD4).
The game also runs great on PC, which seems to be asking a lot recently. Call of Duty: Ghosts, for example, runs like garbage on computers. The graphics look great and everything is incredibly smooth on my PC (I'm using an R9 290X, so a much older graphics card might struggle on the higher settings, as with most other computer games).
Overall, give Titanfall a try. It's a good break from Call of Duty and Battlefield, but don't expect the single player to be phenomenal.
