The Helmet:
- The helmet is super sturdy feeling and nice looking as well, it is probably the best Collector's Edition item I've seen yet.
- The eye ports light up a vibrant blue which is great looking
- The laser sight, radio communication device, and flashlight all work very well and light up, comms do not actually allow communication.
- It's BIG, very big, but it also feels high quality and has plenty of room for your face, and possibly even headphones, haven't tried it yet.
- Requires 3 AAA batteries to power the helmet such as voice lines from BT and Jack in the campaign, and the lighting of the eye ports.
- Comes with a large steel stand to set the helmet on, no wobble and feels very sturdy
Pilot Scarf:
- Very soft and smooth, comfortable to wear along with the helmet
- Seems very easy to clean, haven't had a reason to clean mine yet, but it seems simple
- It is also very large, and fits very well with the helmet to give you the Titanfall vibe of being a pilot in a helmet.
- Almost like a large, very thin blanket which is cool.
The Game:
I didn't get to play the Xbox One version of Titanfall 2 yet compared to the PC Digital Deluxe which I also purchased, so my review based on the game's multiplayer and singleplayer will be based off of my PC Digital Deluxe copy.
- Very fun and detailed, awesome level design, and great fun, highly recommended. Story is very well built
- New mechanics for movement such as sliding and higher movement combos, allowing for faster movement
- Movement feels MUCH smoother than the original, at times feeling too smooth!
- 6 Titans instead of 3, adds a much larger variety to the game and allows you to know the enemy's load out to figure out how to best counter it. Ex: Ronin can appear and beat up Scorch / Legion, but Scorch / Legion cause massive damage if prepared.
- Much larger variety of guns this time around, all feel very unique and have their own special kick behind them in a good way
- Very large customization for multiplayer with camos for everything! I'm having a hard time choosing which camo I even want!
- Several new pilot abilities which seem all very well balanced and well thought out, each having their own tricks and purposes.
- The story is amazing, but ends on a very strange note, it very heavily hints at Titanfall 3 due to how the story ends, no spoilers.
- Heavily recommended, 9/10 game. Very fun and never a dull moment.
Others:
- The patches are very well built and stiff, and are velcro, so no sewing required to add a patch to something.
- Jack Cooper USB Dog Tag works very well and is an 8GB USB. No data on the drive, and had 8GB / 8GB straight, freshly formatted!
- Little note book is made of metal and feels very nice to hold and comes included with a pen and paper. Can be refilled very easily if the correct size of paper is found. The note book is also held open by a spring, and only stays closed if the pen is in it's storage on the side
Verdict:
This is an amazing Collector's Edition that is worth all your money if you are a large Titanfall fan such as myself, and if you also want a Collector's Edition worth your money! The game is solid, and the helmet and accessories are all very well constructed. Score: 9.3 / 10
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Customer reviews
One of the best collectors pieces I've seen

Before my review I just want to point out that Amazon really dropped the ball on this release. I ordered in June with the preorder guarantee for release date arrival. On the release day I received an email around 10am saying that my order was delayed. Calling amazon revealed that they did not have any more details available, other than telling me it would ship eventually. They did discount my order as an apology for missing the delivery date. The game is amazing. And the helmet is probably the nicest collectors edition piece I've ever seen. It's fully wearable, with working lights and a great amount of attention to detail. The helmet is not heavy, so you can realistically wear it for Halloween, or to drop your kids at school. The other included accessories are very nice. Overall I have no doubt this version was worth the price tag, and I'm very happy that Amazon sorted it whatever delivery issues they were having to get these out.
