The Title "Classic Speed Bag" series consists presently of a red 8x5 and red 9x6. Both bags are a bit smaller than their "title brand" speed bags of the same size, and a bit lighter. For instance, The Title Classic Red 9x5 is actually close to the size of the Title standard Yellow 8x5.I have and use both of the Title Classic model bags, and their performance (in my opinion)is Awesome. Very Good shape (not warped or bubbled) from the factory, great action and rebound and very durable. I've particularly used the 8x5 classic for a few years and it's holding up great.

Since these Classic bags are a bit lighter than other speed bags, it may feel a bit strange hitting a "lighter" bag, but an experienced user will quickly adapt. Both of these bags 8x5 and 9x6 are very fast.

The only "negative" I could offer is the bag attachment loop (attaches bag to swivel) is a bit too long for my taste. I prefer a shorter loop, but that is a personal preference, NOT a bag flaw.

One thing about speed bag "action" and performance: This often depends on the swivel you use. I only use a ballhook style swivel as that is the only swivel that will NOT interfere with the rebound action of a speed bag. The Chainlink and Ubolt style swivels can occasionally effect the bags action because of their design, and the user may often blame the BAG, saying its a "bad bag and out of round" etc., when in fact the problem is the swivel. Bag performance can also be effected by the amount of air inside, so be careful not to overfill the bag.

Let me start by saying I'm extremely new to boxing. I wanted a fun way to get exercise, and therefore picked up boxing. I quickly found that buying sub-par boxing equipment gets you no where in your training. I research every piece of equipment I buy to make sure I'm getting the best for my money.

This bag has been my favorite piece of equipment thus far. After reading a ton of reviews for other bags, I was overly worried about having to blow up a speed bag constantly. I have been pummeling this speed bag for the past week, every day, 40 minutes a day. Still haven't had to pump it up. I assume that over time every speed bag will gradually lose more and more air, but this is a solid piece of equipment that I see lasting a long time. Definitely spend the little extra for a bag that won't deflate after every session.

I was also worried about the size of bag I should get. I chose the 6" x 9" bag and I think it's perfect for me. I don't have much experience with speed bag size to give recommendations to other noobies, but as a noobie, I endorse this size. Not overly big or small, and with a little practice I'm already hitting it at a really decent pace. You don't even have to hit it very hard for some great rebound.

A couple of extra points; 1) I recommend investing in a good speed bag swivel. I own the Everlast double end stand which has the basic white ball bearing swivel. You'll notice an instant difference in your speed bag control by upgrading to a better swivel. 2) One negative of this bag is the TITLE patch. If you hit the bag with bare hands, you'll feel some chafing from the patch. This is easily fixed by wearing some hand wraps. 3) It says a lot that I have seen the TITLE brand being used by the pros in their training. This is what attracted me to TITLE in the first place.

Title Classic speed bag: 4 stars (out of 5)
Title Boxing customer service: 2 stars

First off, I should note that the 9" x 6" Title Classic speed bag is actually shorter and narrower than the stated dimensions. But, as, say, $20 to $30 bags go, this model is good in regard to balance and quality of construction and about average in respect to weight, rebounding, and speed (for its size). It also doesn't seem to be very prone to air leakage (as is the case with most speed bags). The only facet in which this speed bag is, perhaps, "below average" is in regard to the "suppleness"/softness of the leather, but only in comparison to some bags in the upper end of the aforementioned price range.

In regard to its durability, I can't say for sure. You see, I got two of these bags - one slightly used and the other brand new and still in the plastic bag - in a speed bags for a double-end bag swap with an acquaintance and ended up giving the unused one to a friend. Within a few months, one of the seams of that bag began to split.

By comparison, the used one that I kept has served me well for almost a year and a half now, with no signs of undue wear ('tho I should point out that I take good care of my boxing equipment and don't go crazy on this bag [I use my large TKO speed bags for uppercuts, hooks, etc becuz I don't care if I pop them]). All in all, this model has proven to be a good value relative to its selling price ('tho, not in the case of the friend to whom I gave the other one).

As for my rating of Title Boxing's customer service ... since my experience with this product was good, I decided to buy one for another friend ("directly") from Title thru Amazon and found their shipping policies and customer service ... frustrating.
