About the Author
Bob graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in English. While at school, he began working with the campus ambulance service, which developed into a decent medical background. This eventually included teaching for the American Red Cross and American Heart Association, and also led to several years of efforts in the operating room of a hospital. Naturally, with an English degree and medical background, the majority of his professional career has been spent on other endeavors. In March of 2003, Bob brought his writing efforts to the web with his own site, In My Backpack. Over the years, content has included general interest essays, sports and travel material, interviews, a photo gallery, and captured the flavors-of-the-day in an on-going journal entry segment. For more, head over to the web site at www.inmybackpack.com. Bob has conducted hundreds of interviews, many of which have appeared on his site. Some of the people he has met and worked with on these projects are Tom Colicchio, Suzi Quatro, Earl Swift, Jimmy Haslip, Terry Fator, Jerry Springer, and Emilio Estefan. Title Town is Bob’s seventh published book. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Bob currently lives in New York with his wife, Terry.
