Campaign:
Weapons are Fully customizable, from the Trigger, to the Paint, to the Gas Chambers. First impressions of the Camo had me feeling like you would be totally unstoppable. I was wrong. While camo is on, if you get too close to an enemy, you can still be detected, also, fast movements, and shooting turn the camo off. The aiming is spot on. A simple hold on the LT (Left Trigger) will put you in 3rd person aiming. Pushing the RS (Right Stick) in, brings you into your Iron Sights or any attachment you may have there. Whle in Iron Sights, it may take a couple days to get used to the realistic kick of each weapon. As a full burst may leave you shooting the air. However, i have never personally experienced that, because i usually use short round bursts. Which brings me into the next topic. They have available triggers that add 3-Round burst, Semi-Auto, Full-Auto. The gadgets are pretty cool, and add a futuristic feel to it, without being much of a game changer. Gadgets are explained before missions, and a walkthrough will pop up in the mission when you first use a gadget, so there should be no cofusion on how to use them.
Multiplayer:
Again, weapons are fully customizable. Your character can be customized, to a certain extent. You have 3 classes you start with, and 3 more to unlock at later levels. Scout, Engineer, and Rifleman. Scout is a Sniper class, low armor, camo, and have protection from Heat detectors. Engineer is a CQB (Close Quarter Combat) class. Moderate armor, has a "Scope Detector" which alerts you to someone scoped in and aiming at you, uses Shotguns and PDR (Personal Defense Rifles). Rifleman is an assault type class, equipped with Assault Rifles and LMG's (Light Machine Gun), has heavy armor for maximum defense. Multiplayer Factions are, of course, the Ghosts, and the not-so-known Bodarks. Factions have different weapons available to them, but have the same attributes and gadgets as a ghost. The maps are well made, have a real feel, and plenty of cover. For killing, Headshots tend to be 2 or maybe 3 shots. Body shots are different per class, as they have different armor, and shots could range from 5 - 7. Modes are Conflict, Decoy, Saboteur, and Siege.
Conflict - basically TDM (Team Deathmatch) with different objectives randomly added into the fray, which adds sort of a firefight zone.
Decoy - TDM but with 3 objectives for the assault team. However, 2 of these objectives are decoy objectives where as one is the real objective. Defenders never know which one is the real objective and which 2 are the decoys. Match is best out of 3.
Saboteur - TDM with a bomb in the middle of the map. Teams must try to secure, transport, and detonate the bomb at the enemy base. Team to detonate wins. Teamwork Actions such as spawning on a teamate, determine tie breakers.
Siege - Search and Destroy type objective. One objective, defenders spawn 10 seconds before attackers to get time to set up. *WARNING* if you go too far from the IMMEDIATE objective area, before the attackers spawn, the game will KILL you off before they spawn. Best out of 3 determines winners.
Guerilla:
Wave by Wave survival. From the one match of this I played, you must defend an HQ (Headquarte) from an enemy onslaught. As this was the first mode I played when I unboxed, I made it to round 5 before dieng. I do now know if there is an end to the mode, but for the most part I feel there isnt. From wave to wave you get plenty of time to re-supply and do whatever you must. If you survive multiple waves in a row, you gain wave bonuses, like, for instance, Camo for your character for 30 seconds. You can get any gadget you get in Campaign as far as I am aware. This is the only Co-op splitscreen part of the game. It is online as well.
This wraps up my review of what I could easily call the greatest war video game made to date. However I feel obliged to state my only flaw about the game. They did not add any type of Bullet drop into the game. the Bullets travel directly where they are aimed. Where this may be a plus for some, This is not for me, as it takes away a certain realistic aspect of the games sniping/ firefights. Other than that SMALL little thing. This game was Flawless. I may just give away CoD and Battlefield. Easily this game would get a 5/5 for me. I hope you all like it as much as myself.
THE CONS:
Graphics are weak. Character movement and the environment are amazing, but look weak. I'm a huge BF3 fan, so graphics are hard to compare (nobody does warfare outside like DICE). Graphics can ruin a game for me, but this falls WAY short of that. Think Homfront. Visually, that's where I put GR:FS. But that's where the similarity ends.
The servers haven't been the most stable. Many games can have 15 second lag. Yes, 15 seconds! You can get kicked out of games randomly (due to "server unavailable"), and Host migrations are common. That said, I was told the developers are working to improve the servers and decrease the drops. Not shocking, but still frustrating.
Weapon leveling is a little slow. This can be argued as a good thing, though. Sometimes it's nice to master one weapon before moving to another. But, if you love your choices, this won't be for you, especially initially. Individual weapon customization, on the other hand, is at the opposite end of the spectrum. You can customize EVERY aspect of the weapon (e.g. trigger, gas system, muzzle, etc). I haven't messed around with it enough but it seems good.
Kinect features STINK!!! Personally, I think Kinect is the most over-hyped, under-performing piece of technology of the new century. You can customize your weapon 10 times faster with the controller than with the Kinect. You'll probably turn it off like I did. Only Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 have effectively integrated Kinect and that only due to voice commands!
There are other petty annoyances, but these outline what I consider to be the most irritating.
THE GOOD:
Co-op, co-op, co-op! Play the lone wolf and you will die. Try to be the one-man army and your team WILL lose. And to encourage co-op play, GR rewards you like no other game to date (that I'm aware of). Comparison: in BF3, if you spot an enemy and he dies, you get 10 points and the guy killing him gets 100. Hardly fair since he probably wouldn't have killed the enemy without your help in the first place. In GR:FS, if you spot an enemy and he dies, you get 200-300 points and the teammate actually killing the enemy gets 50-75 (plus potential bonuses for headshots, stopping streaks, killing from cover, etc)! I've completed many a round with the top score having hardly shot a single bullet. This may sound boring to some, but surprisingly it isn't, especially when you hear in your ear "I see him," from a teammate then watch the enemy take a bullet and stagger to his death while your teammate closes with "got'em." The occassional "thanks" is nice but redundant.
Play is very tactical. This is a negative for some, because many (if not most) FPS gamers just want to drop in, run around like a chicken with its head chopped off, firing round after round, getting kills, getting killed, hizzah! That's COD or Halo. And that's fine! Those are 2 incredibly fun franchises to play. BF3 introduced a greater level of tactical/strategic play, but GR takes it to a "whole 'nother" level. The cover to cover dash feather is spot on; definitely reminiscent of Gears of War, but more valuable and deadly. The ability to see incoming enemies while in third person cover then ambush them is intense (and frightening when you're the "enemy" making that mad dash). So you take your time and plot your next move, waiting for engineers to throw sensors or pilot their UAV into the battle zone. What if the enemy throws a sensor in your area? Never fear, your teammate tosses an EMP grenade to take it out. MOVE OUT!
CONCLUSION:
Don't get this game if you're the kind of gamer where frustration leads to "rage quit." Don't get this expecting to dominate like you do in the umpteenth installment of COD. And please... PLEASE... don't get this if you don't plan to "play nice with others." Use your mic. Party-up with people using their mics and you will dominate as a team. AS A TEAM! I've already met many wonderful gamers and shared many wonderful victories and wallowed in self-pity after many defeats only to strategize our next approach.
There is so much I have surely forgotten to mention, but one thing is for sure: this is a must have for any serious gamer who loves the enjoyment of cooperative play.
I'll see you on the battlefield... but you may not see me.

This game feels more current-gen than the first two (which came out years ago). The control scheme makes sense and is more at home with people who have since played Gears of War or Splinter Cell: Conviction than the originals which I found somewhat clunky. Presentation-wise, there's way more action and remarkably better graphics this time around.
Most important, as with all Tom Clancy games, GRFS encourages and rewards you for being patient, moving in the shadows and planning your moves rather than rushing head on into the action. You can get through a lot of the missions guns blazing, but the overall tension of the experience is lost.
There's a lot of content in here. A 10 hour campaign (with 4 player online coop), competitive multiplayer with tons of unlocks and a 2 person "horde" mode.
