Tom Ford Hardcover – November 4, 2008
Purchase options and add-ons
This colossal, slip-cased deluxe volume showcases 10 years of the most brilliant, most glamorous, most luxurious, and most provocative designs from one of fashion's great icons.
In one decade, Tom Ford transformed a label known for providing clothing for traditional socialites into the sexiest, most decadent line imaginable. Sales exploded at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, creating the powerful luxury goods conglomerate that the Gucci Group is today.
Ford brought a hard-edged style synonymous with 21st century glamour to his clothes, and every one of the thick, glossy pages in this collection reflect Ford’s exceptional taste.
This is a chronicle not only of Ford's clothing and accessories designs for both Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, but it’s also an exploration of Ford's grand vision for the complete design of a brand, including architecture, store design, and advertising.
Fashion’s greatest photographers appear here as well, featuring more than 375 color and B&W photographs—including many previously unpublished images—by icons like Richard Avedon, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Terry Richardson, Craig McDean, Todd Eberle, and many other photographers.
Originally published to coincide with his departure from Gucci, this is Ford's testament to a career of singular moments reinventing the boundaries of style and sensuality in clothing.
With an introduction by former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter and a foreword by Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief at Vogue.

Firstly, the book itself is a work of art. The hardcover is sleek and elegant, with the iconic Tom Ford logo embossed in gold. The pages are thick and glossy, making each image and text pop off the page. It is definitely a statement piece that adds a touch of sophistication to any coffee table.
But beyond its physical appearance, the content of the book is what truly captivated me. It is a comprehensive look at Tom Ford's career, from his early days at Gucci to his successful eponymous brand. The photographs are stunning, showcasing Ford's stunning designs and his mastery of fashion and beauty. Each page is filled with vibrant colors, bold prints, and luxurious fabrics, giving readers a glimpse into the glamorous world of Tom Ford.
What I appreciate most about this book is the insight into Ford's creative process. Through interviews and behind-the-scenes photos, we get a glimpse into his mind and how he turns his visions into reality. It is inspiring to see his attention to detail and his unwavering dedication to perfection.
Aside from fashion, the book also touches on Ford's foray into film directing, giving readers a well-rounded view of his talents and accomplishments. It is clear that Tom Ford is not just a fashion designer, but a true artist in every sense of the word.
Overall, I highly recommend the Tom Ford coffee table book to fashion enthusiasts, art lovers, and anyone who appreciates beauty and creativity. It is a stunning addition to any collection and a must-have for fans of Tom Ford. I have already spent hours flipping through its pages and I know I will continue to do so for years to come.

I’ll start by the packaging which wasn’t great at all. The little plastic wrap was broken and all I could think of was the possible damage. I would suggest it to be properly packaged to avoid damages during transportation. But I’m glad my book didn’t get damaged in any way so I’m giving 5 stars. Everything looks fine.
Now let’s go to the actually book… 🥹
The book itself is AMAZING, very well produced with such high quality! The paper and the printing are very good. It’s definitely worth the price (I got during prime day). It’s extremely heavy too.
As I was checking some pages I literally was smiling because I was extremely satisfied and happy with this purchase. I was like a kid 😮💨
I wish all other design books have the same detailed quality.
I’ll try to update the review with more pictures after I get everything staged as I want.
