“Anika Massey, his little sister’s best friend was the curvy, light-brown skinned woman that had haunted his dreams since the first night Nadira introduced them. Never in a million years would he act on the feelings that he had for Anika.” – Toma
However, when someone harms Anika, Toma can not stay on the side lines. He is boiling inside and wants blood, but with the Necromancers disappearing and appearing when they want to, a new plan of attack as to be made. Yet waters are tested when Anika is forced to move into the mansion and on the same wing as Toma. Can Toma resist his desire for her?
Toma in the first book was that brother you didn’t want to cross because your punishment would be hell. He acts on impulse in battle, but for his feelings he bottles them up. Anika was the flirt that we were introduced to in book one, but now we know why! She doesn’t want to be a flirt, but with the one man she wants rejecting her all the time she can’t get a break. If you love those “I have a crush of my best friend’s brother”, then this one is for you. And if you love paranormal with romance this is definitely for you.
I totally loved Princess and was just as pleased with Toma.
I really enjoyed reading this book, I found that it was very well written, nicely descriptive and flowed with a nice pace, which made it an easy read.
Wicked characters, Alpha Vampires who are brothers and make for one hell of an interesting read.

Book 3, that is what I can ask for Book 3!
I received this book, from the author, for free, in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I loved this book and can't wait for the next book in this series. Princess was amazing and if you missed it you need to read it. I recommend this book and series to everyone.
I've found that all of the Dark Shadows books can be read alone, but the series is amazing and highly recommended.
