Sebastian Haley is a lifelong Pokémon trainer and the best-selling author of Playing With Super Power and 30 Years of Mega Man.

Tara Theoharis is the creator of the recipe and party blog The Geeky Hostess and author of The Minecrafter's Cookbook and Break an Egg! The Broadway Cookbook. She loves creating approachable recipes inspired by her favorite fandoms. When not experimenting in the kitchen, she can be found playing games and binging TV shows with her husband and son in Seattle.

Meagan Marie is an industry veteran with experience on both the press and production sides of making games. Previously at Game Informer Magazine and Riot Games, she is now the longtime Senior Community & Social Media Manager at Crystal Dynamics. Focused on the Tomb Raider franchise, Meagan has been responsible for establishing and evolving the brand presence on social media, engaging with fans online and at events worldwide, and acting as a studio spokesperson.

Inspired to use her platform to give back, Meagan is outspoken on issues of representation in gaming and pop culture. She is also the founder of the Causeplay Shop, which uses her platform as an international cosplay guest to unite cosplayers and geek artists for sales that benefit charitable causes.

Recipes are fantastic and doable for the average home chef. Recipe images are big and beautiful. The travel guides are not comprehensive by any means, but give you a nice basic taste of the lands and expands on some terms. The recipes have information on WHAT they are and their origins, which is great from a cultural standpoint. Both the recipes and travel guide have tie-ins to the games and it's a great move to keep the book a smooth read.

Unfortunately, not all the recipes have images. Sprinkled throughout the book are also many images of Lara, most being from the original Sony PlayStation era and have the dates cg models that seem a bit out of place. Definitely for the fans of the old titles I think.

All in all, a fantastic cookbook that works for the casual home cook, the tomb raider fan, and the adventurer alike.

Ho solo sfogliato il libro, ma la cura per l'impaginazione e dei dettagli è davvero splendida. Il volume è anche abbastanza piccolo (non come quello dei Vent'anni di TR, che è enorme), adatto ad un uso quotidiano.

Nel libro sono presenti ricette tipiche dei paesi visitati da Lara nel corso delle sue avventure, con in allegato una guida storico-archeologica dei luoghi (mi ha colpita molto quella sulla Siria).

Un volume da leggere e rileggere.

Unica pecca: pare ci sarà una localizzazione in italiano. Avendo appena acquistato l'originale, mi sento leggermente presa in giro. Vabbè, dettagli.
