I have been using one of these for a genuine Super Nintendo controller from Nintendo, and it has been working well in Windows 10. I have played some games with Mednafen and other emulators and have been happy with it. One thing I noticed though, is that it seems to interfere with the Windows screen saver & screen power settings. With the adapter plugged in, I notice the screen saver and monitor shut-off timer were not working (I could leave my PC alone for quite a while and the monitor would still be on). After unplugging this adapter, the screen saver & monitor shut-off would activate as normal.

The product works well as an adapter for my own SNES controller for the most part, but it has a small flaw that sometimes disrupts the flow of gaming. Randomly, periodically, it will press the left directional input button for no discernible reason for a split second. In some games this doesn't do much, in some others, it can be the cause of death. It's really annoying when it is, and prevents me from rating it any higher.

This works to convert the snes controller to usb. Only thing is that this is my second one. The first lasted me a couple of years. Eve traveled with me. Just don't ever wind it up. that is when it has the chance to break and stop working. Otherwise it works great and easy to install.

Riconosce praticamente tutti i modelli di controller, anche i famigerati vecchi giapponesi SHVC-005. Purtroppo però si manifesta il solito ghost input tipico dei Buffalo, preparatevi quindi a vedere schermate che si muovono da sole e altri fenomeni paranormali (difetto non grave ma fastidioso).

The moment I unboxed these adapters, I knew it was quality, because of how sturdy it is. With this product, all my SNES pads works perfectly on my Pi and PC, without any noticeable input lag! This is what I wanted, emulation, but with retro-feel! This product is awesome! ... and it adds about 18 inches to your existing SNES cord!
