As I was only eating about 3tbsp of food at a time, I wanted a small food processor that could puree these tiny amounts a bit easier than my normal one.
It does the job, and purees foods well.
However, don't attempt to add anything too liquidy!
I tried to make a puree with milk, and filled the bowl about halfway up. When I turned it on, disaster! The lid does not make a tight seal and the milk was pouring out all over the place.
I could understand if I'd filled it to the top, but this was barely halfway up!
So overall, could be better. But does work fine for thicker blending.
It is also quite difficult to remove the bowl - especially when it’s slippery with leaked food.
It is very noisy compared to other mixers, meaning the time you can use it is limited if you have a baby - which is rather the point of it.
All told I really wish I had bought a different product.
However, the main issue I have with this blender is the amount of noise it makes. My goodness!!! It is so noisy even my large blender is quieter. Hence when my baby is asleep I don’t want to risk blitzing her food in case it wakes her up.
Only had it for 2 weeks, within a few days it created very strong burning smells like it could cope with blending simple foods (peas, cooked carrots etc.)
It also didn't blend very well, cut it more into very small chunks rather than blending.
