DEAR Stephanie, you did not Have To Go Thru All the suffering. NO!!! He could've brought you STDs, even AIDS, what about your children? We as mothers have to give our kids a great example of Boundaries! My prayer for your children that they will never allow Anybody, to manupulate them like your unfaithful husband did. And you allowed him to do so in the name of God. God, our fair God -I know- doesn't want us to become doormats! Your husband Chose to lie, hide and continue to sin.He chose not to love you. He chose to continue his moral decay. Because you were one flesh- the decay got into you- as depression, sadness and etc. You are saying your kids didn't have you as a mothet for 3 years!
I'm giving you a lot of love and compassion here: you are strong in your faith! But please when you teach women, please show them -it is possible to be a strong Christian and keep your boundaries tight! Healthy boundaries, knowing who we are in Christ, love for the Lord and Love for youself are necessary ingredients for happy life. Unfortunately, I think some of your teaching is dangerous for women who allow their husbands to abuse them or mistreat them.
