I enjoy baking and it's evident in my hips, butt and thighs. I also know that I need to keep things as healthy as possible for my son who is growing. this means reducing the amount of fat we eat. One of the ways I do that is with the Baker's mat.

The Baker's Mat allows me to cook without having to add oils, butters, or sprays to my baking sheet. This allows me to do away with these unwanted calories. i no longer need to grease my pan because the mat lays flat on my cookie sheet and nothing sticks to it.

This silicone mat is FDA approved. It is also dish washer safe, easy to clean by hand as well, plus can with stand extreme temps. So not only can you place it in your oven to bake with but it can go it the freezer and the microwave. Pretty awesome, Right? Not to mention you can use it for not only baking cookies but also rolls, pizzas and even candy.

Oh and if your wondering my cookies came out beautifully with out sticking. They were just the right golden brown and not burnt on the bottom. I truly love my Baker's Mat. If you are looking for an easy way to cut some calories this is the way to go. I am just wandering what took me so long to discover this great kitchen item.

Not dishwasher safe.

I am returning mine, for two reasons. 1) it can't be put in the dishwasher 2) I have to be suspect of all the 5-star reviews. Several of the glowing reviews have been written around the same time, and the writers have reviewed no other products. I could be wrong, but often that means the reviews are fake.

I ordered this mat because I like color and it seemed legit. It has lots of imperfections on the top side containing the logo. What I mean is that by running your fingers over it you can feel tiny jagged spots protruding outward. Beyond that the thing just feels thinner and cheaper than other silicone mats I own. Would not recommend buying.

I'm an avid baker, and I always use parchment paper on my baking sheets, and I've always wanted one of these, but never bought one until now. I've used it a few times and I like the way it performs, but my only issue is that its smaller than my 1/2 sheet pans, so I loose a bit of baking surface. I used it the other day when baking challah and I had to put some parchment at the corners to take up the slack.

I received the Silicone Baking Mat to review on my blog and I needless to say, I will be purchasing another one! These things work great! Simply put it in the pan, add your biscuits, cookies, chicken or whatever you want to bake and continue on with your baking instructions. It works wonders! No sticking and easy cleanup!

I particularly love it for cookies because when the cookies come out the oven, I simply remove the mat from the pan and set it aside to cool with the cookies still on it. I also like the fact that if I do remove the cookies while still hot (if I'm make several batches) the cookies come off so easily that they don't get lose their shape while trying to remove them from the surface! I will be purchasing another one and highly recommend the Baker's Mat for anyone who bakes. Another awesome benefit is that you do not need to 'grease' anything so, that's a few less calories sneaking into your recipe and also clean up is a breeze since there is nothing cooked onto the baking sheet!

These mats are pretty handy! They are durable, easy to wash, and have a nice non-stick finish. In the past I have used non stick baking pans, but the finish always managed to get scratched off. My grandma had a metal baking pan that always took forever to scrub clean. I hated it. The best part about these mats is you can do several things with them. You can bake on it, freeze it, refrigerate on it and roast on it! You don’t need to oil or spray down the pan or mat before putting food on it. I have cooked BBQ chicken, cookies, biscuits, and many more stuff on the mat and they have saved me from doing a ton of work. I can spend more time with my kids than cleaning up my mess. I love how they are easy to store and keep my pans in great condition for a longer time. I wish I had known about these mats a long time ago because they would have made my life a lot easier!
