I'm actually surprised with the quality of the mic. I needed something cheap and quick to move around to live stream on the go. This is the perfect set up mic for what I needed. Of Course the quality isn't the best, but it is a big step up from the microphone on my laptop. So, lets be honest here, the quality is no where near Professional quality. But if you are relying on a headset or even laptop microphone and want a quick upgrade to your audio without hurting the bank, this is for you.

The Microphone is incredibly light and made me question the quality of the mic but I was surprised.

I have bought this mic to have a video manual. The review from others helped a lot to choose this mic. The reason why I give 4 stars is it makes some haul sound when you record with the high volume. I mean it is a little higher than medium volume. Other than that it seems very good mic. I care less about the materials, (it seems cheap materials) because main purpose is recording sounds instead of showing off. Also the tri-pod is good to have. I have karaoke program in my computer and tested my favorite song with this mic for fun. It was 3 star quality for recoding the song, but it is good to just record the simple voice. I think this is very economical option for the person who just wants to record the voice.

Well, it worked god, for about a minute. I just recieved it today, was kinda sketchy about the cheap feeling of it and the fact that the box clearly makes it look like something from a dollar store.. Still, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and hooked it up. Being no stranger to microphones, as I have 2 already, I wanted a good USB one (I have an aux one; and a headset).

As I said, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. For starters it didn't record anything I was saying, so I changed the settings in my recordings.... then it picked up every other sound and the hum of my PC so I turned it back down. FINALLY, I got it record me loud and clear; and then... it just stopped. Now its nothing but silence. This was all in a span of 5 minutes... from not-optimized, to working, to dead.

If I wanted something so cheap feeling that wasn't going to work for very long I'd had bought a $5 microphone, but no I paid $30 for this garbage. Now I've got to spend my time and gas to send the garbage back.

I have a microphone from the 1990's that still works but not this one and I've had it for just a few minutes.

And for any purchasers reading this, beware of the high starred reviews. I read over them afterwards and most are not verified and others are provided reviews. I do wish Amazon.com would turn off reviews for items the people have not purchased here.

Needed an external mic for my home office. I use MS Lync (soon to be Skype) as my main communication vehicle. I alternate between using a headset or using my computer mic with external speakers. Got too many complains about the sound quality when using the computer mic (probably because the lid is closed when using my monitors), so I thought I would give this USB mic a try. Everyone says the sound of my voice sounds great on the other end. May stop using the headset as the primary device as this mic/speaker setup gives more freedom to move around. Love this mic. Great value.

It gets the job done, but the cord is fairly short. My biggest issue is that the sound quality is garbage. I listened from a friends computer of what this mix sounds like over Skype, and what I heard was awful. There is a static white noise constantly coming through, and any ambient sound in the room sounds like a dishwasher.

The stand and mic both feel like cheap plastic. Would not recommend or buy again. I'm looking for a new mic now.

It's pretty good for a cheap usb mic. I'm a studio guy so any usb mic isn't as good as say a Neumann U87. I usually end up going for the upper price range on mics and recording equipment in general. But this mic is for my daughter to use, and had to get it at the last minute for a school project, hence not going for the more expensive usb mic. But I will say this. For the price it ended up being a great little mic. Nothing awesome mind you, but you can't get awesome out of $20. Just not possible. Haven't used it enough to comment on the exact response of this mic. And by response I mean-don't know how close you have to be to pic up clear voice, or how far away a sound has to be for the mic to pic it up. I wouldn't want a usb mic for instance picking up my kids in other room playing, or the tv in my wife's room while I'm trying to record vocals or something with this mic in a completely separate room. So background audio I'm talking about.
In conclusion it's a great usb mic for the price. And it's very sturdy compared to many of the others I have seen. In general I think this is better than many other usb mics up to the $70 range.

Ich habe dieses Mikrofon bestellt, da ich dachte für den Preis kann man nichts falsch machen.
Das erste Mikrofon welches ich erhalten habe, war jedoch wohl defekt. Es war ein klappern zu hören und es gab elektrische Störgeräusche. Außerdem war das Mikrofon extrem leise. Also reklamierte ich das Mikrofon und das neue Mikrofon tut nun genau das was es soll und bestätigt die vielen positiven Kommentare.
Jedoch würde ich gerne auf einen Kommentator zusprechen kommen, der ein Video gedreht hat, wo er dieses Mikrofon anpreist.
