The movie was okay; my kids liked it. However, there were at least three instances of swearing. I'm not sure why they would do that in a kid's movie, but they did.

My 9-year-old twins liked the movie. It is dated and has a very sexist message (widowed mom must find a husband to support her). I also worried that, in a film about "saving" and elephant, they seemed to have used a circus-trained elephant.

Cute movie but totally unbelievable. (An elephant in Los Angeles?) The child actors should look for another career choice. I couldn't make it past feeding the elephant pancakes without the mother noticing.

My grandkids loved this movie and to get them all to sit down for the same movie is rare. They range from 6 to14 and all six loved it and so did I. It's nice to enjoy a movie that you don't have to worry about what is said and showed.

Can you imagine if your kids tried to hide an elephant?

These kids rescue an elephant who has been shot by a hunter who likes to hunt illegal prey. So they hide him under some of their mother's blankets. When Mom finds the envelope, she insists they talk to the zoo trainers, only to be warned that if the zoo gets the elephant, the hunter will claim him then hunt him. So they have to keep the envelope.

All the while, fun ensues as they do their best to not let the elephant go where the hunter might see him, but an oblivious cop lets the cat (er, the elephant) out of the bag.

It is a fun movie. I recommend you give it a chance. Good for a fun evening with your family, whether you have kids or not.

It was an amazing movie. It had these wonderful animals and it was full of nature. It is one of the best there is. No movie can be better than a movie filled with nature and elephants and I liked how everything works out. Unbelievable!
