I made my first deep fried turkey last night. I generally use a pepper rub when I make turkey, but the oil would have washed it off, so I used Tony Chachere's Style Butter Marinade and was dazzled by the results! Everyone agreed it was the best turkey they had ever had. I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Please note--this is a butter marinade, not a spicy Cajun marinade. It's wonderful, but if you are looking for the heat, you may want to look at other alternatives. This was smooth and, as the name suggests, very buttery.

I am a brand newbie to injecting a turkey. I got the Butterball Electric OIL FREE deep fryer (works great) and decided to go all out and give this a try. It was wonderful. I was a bit nervous about the word "creole" but trusted the reviews. Personally, I wouldn't call this "creole" flavored. It was more like simply basting the turkey, which was what I wanted. The turkey was juicy and moist without any funny flavors and it was easy to use. One bottle was enough for two 14 lb turkeys at Thanksgiving and an 18 lb turkey on Christmas. For more aggressive users a bottle might not go as far. I have not tried it with an oven roasted bird but have heard other say it's good there too. I definitely recommend it for the Butterball Oil Free Fryer and will definitely buy it again.

Frying turkeys has been a family tradition for over 25 years. I've tried smoking, roasting, grilling, and frying. Frying wins hands down. And this is THE injection to use! I only use it on the drumsticks and breast, and it makes the meat so juicy. Even in leftovers. Just be sure to follow all instructions as frying a turkey can be dangerous if you're not careful. Make sure the bird is completely thawed and dry, and go SLOWLY when moving the bird in/out of the hot oil. It takes me at least 1 minute to lower the bird into the oil. But despite the minimal risk, it's the best way to cook a turkey.

I used this on the last pan of brisket I made, and it turned out incredible. I injected it the the night before I left it to sit in the dry rub, and then mixed it again with its own juices in the pan. The meat was so moist and delicious that I couldn't stop picking at bits of it before dinner. I will definitely use this again.

We use this seasoning every year for Thanksgiging and love it! The trick is to inject the turkey 24 hours before deep frying, the taste is at least 1,000 times better doing so! We also sprinkle the top of the turkey at the same time with the Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning. I do not know why or how this stuff is so good, it just is!

This was really good. I injected the turkey about 2 hours before cooking and it was really juicy. I think the price is too high...after I bought it I found on Amazon prime for about 3 bucks less but the product is great and everyone really liked the taste.
