This was a refreshing fun book to read. I'd pretty much given up hope on finding a new werewolf book that a) wasn't a freaking porno, and b) that I actually enjoyed reading.
It is a typical storyline of broken women meets broken werewolf but it was still really fun and enjoyable to read. I really like Stewart's writing style and her the way she gives her characters depth and how they interact with the plot.
There were some typos but not so many that it made it difficult to read or understand. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Sadie James is a broken human being who was sexually assaulted. She is smart, sweet, funny, caring, but broken. She moved to the small town of Adirondack to get away from her terrifying memories that keep lingering after she had to kill her stalker by shooting him in self-defense. While walking in the woods behind her house, she is confronted by a wolf. Another wolf comes up behind her and runs the first one off. Hmmmmm! Then there is the problem of the stalker's family, who want revenge against her for killing her stalker, their family member.
Tyson Cartwright is a broken wolf all because of being forced to kill his sister. He was once an enforcer for the Adirondark Pack. Now all he wants to do is be a wolf and leave his human left behind. Oblivion! When he helps Sadie in the woods, she somehow calms his wolf.
Will they be able to save each other? Read this first book in this new series to find out what else happens. I received this book for an honest review. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Sadie James moves to the small town of Andora after she goes through something tragic. She is tired of all of the pity looks that she gets back home from everyone, including her family. She is hoping to start fresh and new where no one knows her. After only being there a few days she finds herself in trouble again. Will the Wolf in-front of her save her or harm her. She is not sure which right now.
Tyson has years with the Adirondack pack as the enforcer. When he is forced to kill his own sister he cannot take it and leaves to become a lone wolf. The world has other plans for him when he is put in the same path as Sadie. He is not sure what is pulling these two together, but he has to keep going.
Tyson chases Jack away from Sadie to protect her. Tyson knows that Jack is the one that was behind the reason why Tyson had to kill his own sister. He does not trust Jack with Sadie. He decides to stay in his wolf form so that he can protect her at all times. They both become very attached to each other during this time. When Tyson saves Sadie from Jack’s attack on her he never knew that it would turn out to be a life and death situation. He is left with the decision of his life, but that will not be the only one he is to make.

Great story- loved the switch of POVs from heroine to hero. Was a little surprised by the ending- seemed abrupt- but overall really fast, really good story.Published 13 days ago

Oh, wow… this series is amazing! I knew it would be based on the few short stories I’ve already read for the series, but this book had me on the edge the entire time. Read morePublished 1 month ago by rz06g4
I loved the story and could not put it down! I also appreciate very much that the author did not succumb to the common "goto" for a lack of creativity: EMBARRASSING SEX SCENES. Read morePublished 1 month ago by M
