An instant USA Today bestseller.
LobsterShorts, 21. Jock. Secretly a science geek. Hot AF.
LobsterShorts: So. Here goes. For her birthday, my girlfriend wants…a threesome.
SinnerThree: Then you’ve come to the right hookup app.
LobsterShorts: Have you done this sort of thing before? With another guy?
SinnerThree: All the time. I’m an equal opportunity player. You?
LobsterShorts: [crickets!]
SinnerThree, 21. Finance major. Secretly a male dancer. Hot AF.
SinnerThree: Well, I’m down if you are. My life is kind of a mess right now. School, work, family stress. Oh, and I live next door to the most annoying dude in the world. I need the distraction. Are you sure you want this?
LobsterShorts: I might want it a little more than I’m willing to admit.
SinnerThree: Hey, nothing wrong with pushing your boundaries...
LobsterShorts: Tell that to my control-freak father. Anyway. What if this threesome is awkward?
SinnerThree: Then it’s awkward. It’s not like we’ll ever have to see each other again. Right? Just promise you won’t fall in love with me.
LobsterShorts: Now wouldn’t that be life-changing...

And that’s the thing that stands out the most for me in this book, the depth of our two heroes. They are so real. I love how completely different they are from one another, yet I empathize with both of them, and truly feel like I understand how they came to be the men that they are now. And they’re both eminently likable! Keaton truly is a lovable puppy dog, seeking approval from his loved ones, while trying to embrace who he is inside. I loved his nerdy mind, his passion for animals, and his willingness to look deeper within himself. I LOVED that he didn’t try to hide or squash the new things he was learning about himself…I mean, he panicked and was confused, but he forged ahead.
And Luke just broke my heart. He had so much drive, but it came from a place of insecurity. He was truly shaped by his past and his childhood, and it was hard to watch the arrows keep coming his way. I wanted him to discover his worth earlier, to learn to trust faster, but in the end it wouldn’t have been believable. And in the end it made every step forward that much more satisfying.
And the two of them together surprised me. I loved their communications over Kink. I loved the way they connected with one another on a basic level. And in a strange way, I loved that they were so different in real life, neither one taking the time to look deeper into the other. I’m not always into enemies to lovers tropes, but this one was well done. And damn, did that hostility and tension make for some very hot scenes when they first got together. Like smoking. OMG, Luke’s dominant personality was just…wow. And the subtle way their relationship developed was kind of sweet too. I became fully invested in their romance.
There were definitely some great secondary characters in this one as well. From the different personalities of the frat brothers, to Annika, to even Keaton’s Dad. They all added to make us learn more about the boys.
On a side note, there is a very small element of non-physical cheating in this book. Cheating’s normally a button issue for me, but there are always exceptions. This would be one of them. The circumstances surrounding the relationships are super unique, and the way it all played out just didn’t have me turned off. Obviously it’s personal, but just thought I’d give one perspective from someone who doesn’t have much tolerance for that.
So yeah. Super huge hit with me. I can definitely see myself checking out the audiobook when it becomes available, because I’d love to see Keaton and Luke’s story evolve all over again. Such a great combination of sass, humour, steam, and depth.
What happens when the two most-unlikely people meet under the pretense of a hookup app? Can a prideful man believe the affections of a straight trust-fund-baby are genuine? And can a young man destined to follow in his father’s footsteps become the man he truly wants to be?
College frat boy Keaton Hayworth III is surprised when his girlfriend of six years, high class sorority president Annika, wants a threesome. But who is he to disappoint? So, he joins the app Kink to discover what he can do to make her birthday wish come true. Luke Bailey is attending Darby College on a scholarship. He’s not there to make friends, but just trying to make ends meet. Work and school are killing him, so he blows off a little steam with his hookups on Kink.
When the men begin chatting on the app it’s all for fun. Keaton is a scientist, so why not experiment? And Bailey needs the cash. But what starts out as “’you need to know how far you’re willing to go’” turns into so much more.
Keaton has a third generation meddling father who pushes him to be something he’s not and Bailey just wants to dissociate himself from his family. Conversing on the app without pretenses, they discover they may just have something in common. When their illicit sexting sessions turn to shared confidences, they each begin to realize this is more than a planned hookup.
With all the "build-up", when these two do finally give in to temptation it’s as passionate as you would expect, but not without confusion. And once their true identities are revealed, these two enemies must decide if lust and love are worth fighting for.
Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy bring forth a cast of expertly written and delivered characters who move the angsty, yet humorous action along, as both Keaton and Bailey keeping secrets from their Alpha Delta fraternity brothers. Of course, there’s tension, suspense, confusion, bigotry… but ever present is compassion. 'Top Secret' is a lesson in not judging a book by its cover. We never know what makes someone who they are, what’s going on within their pages. As Keaton tells his parents, “’Being in a relationship with a guy gave me all the answers I didn’t know I was searching for.’”
Some books you have waiting on your Kindle and you wonder what’s taken you so long to read them. And then you wish you hadn’t because you can never read them again for the “first time”. This is one such book. Do yourself a favor and delight in all that is 'Top Secret'. And absolutely don’t miss the bonus epilogue offered at the end of the book.

It starts with Keaton a rich popular jock who lives in Alpha Delt whose girlfriend wants to spice up there sex life with a threesome for her 21st birthday pressant,so asks Keaton to look into getting another male to join them on her special night. This is new for them both so he joins a app called kinky for hookups, this opens his eyes to a totally new world where he meets SinnerThree.
Luke is on a scholarship to Derby college who doesn't come from a rich background so has to work hard to afford his rent and food from month to month. His plan is to win the race for the president of Alpha Delt the frat house where he is living as the winner gets free rent for the year.Luke is not confused about who he is and what he likes as he is bi so likes both men and women so uses the hookup ap kinky with his user name being SinnerThree.
Keaton uses the name LobsterShorts for his hookup name to find a third for his girlfriend and there up and coming threesome, and starts messaging SinnerThree little knowing who he is as they don't use there real indentities ,this is where it gets funny with all the back and forwards sexting as they both start to like the other guy and it starts to get more and more sexy the more they sexting each other.I don't really want to get into the plot you will have to read it for yourself.
Luke and Keaton's journey is complicated and doesn't run smoothly at all, there is no cheating in this story, just thought i would put this out there if you was wondering. You will get to see a connection start to form between this couple and you wouldn't of put them together at first but i did love this couple when they got there act together, and the hot and steamy scenes between them was mind blowing
This story was full of angst, heat and hilarious sexting but also with lots of drama,The ending was just swoon worthy i loved it,love always wins in the end.Totally love this book.Five Huge Lobster Stars.

I’ve been in a weird reading funk lately, and it seems the only thing capable of pulling me out is some delicious romance.
This isn’t your typical boy meets boy and they fall hard kind of story, and I loved that.
Keaton and Luke both have baggage and I loved how their relationship seemed to embolden them both to make the changes they wanted to make in their lives alone.
The story itself isn’t just about an unlikely relationship but about two people with very different backgrounds. Keaton's story proves that money can buy a lot of things, but happiness and acceptance aren’t part of the package. Luke’s story proves that he doesn’t need to give anything in exchange for love, only himself, which isn’t easy for him.
It also went into friendship territory, that true friendship is acceptance, no amount of bro code can make things okay when your friends can’t accept who you are.
Gosh it tugged on my heartstrings.
I really enjoyed this. It was recommended by a friend, and I’ll definitely look into the other books written by Sarina and Elle.

Keaton Hayward III is third generation Apha Delta, his father (the CEO of a bif pharmaceutical company) and grandfather were both Presidents of the fraternity and he is aiming to do the same. When his sweet, but vanilla high school girlfriend says she wants a three-way for her twenty-first birthday present Keaton is surprised but happy to go along. He signs them up (anonymously) to a hook-up site called Kink and starts vetting potential matches for his gf's big surprise.
When Keaton and Luke start messaging on the app as LobsterShorts and SinnerThree things start off business-like with Luke testing whether Keaton is really happy with the ramifications of his gf's choices, but soon Keaton is sharing his geeky facts about mating in the animal kingdom and the two of them are developing a relationship.
What can I say, two of my favourite authors. I've noticed a theme in their college novels which tend to start off really raunchy and factor 100 on the phoar scale but become sweeter as the characters develop their relationship. This is definitely a rich-guy/poor-guy romance, it's about reaching for what you really want and standing up for yourself and what's right. It's 100% Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy sweet, sexy, articulate, romantic, funny love conquers all.
Wonderful.

Yet, I did find it a little hard to get into. But once I was hooked, I was really hooked and from that point on I did find it extremely hard to put down. And therefore I would happily recommend it to others.

Keaton Hayworth III or “Mr Jockface” if you ask Luke Bailey, is the well liked, well bred jock that is his serious contender in the vote for frat president. They are opposites in almost every way. Keaton was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and quite literally has everything served on a platter to him. In Luke’s eyes everything appears to comes way too easy, and their race for frat presidency has created a somewhat rivalry between them.
There is of course the small matter, unbeknownst to the both of them, of the rendezvous they are arranging over the hookup app, Kink. Luke is self assured in his sexuality but for Keaton it’s an awakening of sorts.
Keaton is under no illusions he lives a charmed life. His father is CEO of a pharmaceutical company and he has a job waiting for him after he graduates. Although he does not have financial struggles, he has come to a crossroads in the struggle over his identity. The life laid out in front of him takes a turn Luke Bailey enters it. What he took for hostility towards Luke soon becomes admiration when Luke is forced to ask him for help.
The messages over Kink brought humour, intimacy, and stoked the simmering passion between them, but it’s not until they discover who the other really is that we are treated to the wonder and vulnerability of their budding relationship.
Sarina & Elle can always be counted on when it comes to the “unputdownable” factor, and whatever that secret may be, TOP SECRET definitely has oodles of it.
