Product Description

Flavor: Peach | Size: Pack of 3

In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. The two returned home to their native San Francisco with something very important: handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups. These syrups helped Rinaldo and Ezilda reintroduce the Italian soda to their neighborhood. Years later, our syrup was used to create the world’s first flavored latte! We’ve remained a family-owned company -- adhering to the high quality standards that Rinaldo and Ezilda set nearly 90 years ago. Each and every syrup, sauce, and smoothie is created with care and pride. That’s a promise from our entire family -- including the more than 100 members that make up the Torani team. We started with just five syrups. Today, you can use more than 100 of our naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases in coffees, sodas, teas, smoothies, cocktails and more. And we’re excited to bring you new taste traditions and flavors as we move forward.

I have a strong family history of type 2 diabetes and though for the past 10 years, I've mostly eaten foods with good glycemic index ratings, despite my efforts, recently I was diagnosed with type II diabetes.

It's very hard to find anything sweet that is truly safe for diabetics because many products that call themselves sugar-free contain maltodextrin - like powdered sugar free jello, sugar free liquid coffee creamers, etc. Just last week I had to have some labs done and some days I noticed my BG (blood glucose) ratings were all over the place though I had not thought I'd eaten or drank anything that was on my list of foods to avoid. On the day I had the labs I'd only had fat free clear chicken broth and sugar free Jello that I made from a box mix. For some reason my BG was high. How?? When I'd only had jello and chicken broth for over 24 hours (I was a bit under the weather so that's why I was eating almost nothing).

Anyway, I had the lab test my BG on their lab equipment and from the same blood sample I used my meter. The meter said 183. The lab test was 186! I later found out it was from the maltodextrin in the jello. Even the powdered Splenda that measures like sugar has maltodextrin in it. If you are ingesting maltodextrin, then your pancreas is working to "clear" it from your body just as it would have to do with table sugar is what I've been told by my endocrinologist. My GP (general practitioner) doctor didn't mention that, nor did my diabetes educator. I'm not sure they even know.

Sorry for all the "extraneous" info but I just think it's important info to know if you are diabetic, pre-diabetic, have family history of diabetes or just don't want to burn out the beta cells in your pancreas then AVOID maltodextrin.

This had a lot of positive comments, so I took a risk (this review is for the brown sugar cinnamon flavor). Wow! It is the best yet. I don't use it in coffee, I mix 1/4 c. with an egg, then add 1/4 c. almond flour, 1/4 c. flaxseed meal/flour, and sprinkle a bit more cinnamon in it. Microwave in the same bowl for 2 minutes and have a nice breakfast cake. Top with sweetened greek yogurt and what a great cold weather breakfast (adding blueberries or strawberries and/or their syrups is also wonderful). I bought 3 bottles and 1 is already gone! ;) I also use these syrups in baking (almond flour cookies, cheesecake, etc.).

I purchased this product because i'm a diabetic. I love vanilla coffee and was using a creamer from the supermarket. It said contains no sugar and I started using it on a regular basis. Since i'm on an insulin pump and test my blood often, there was a significient rise in my numbers. I looked for a long time for sugar free vanilla syrup and came across your product. My sugar is under good control thanks to your product. People out there, don't hesitate to make the purchase. Linda

I keep finding different uses for this syrup in different desert recipies. I love white chocolate and this definitely satisfies my sweet cravings. Just wish I could buy one bottle and not 3. I may be 90 before I can finish all 3 bottles.

I 'discovered' Torani sugar free Peach about 10 years ago. I've been hooked on it ever since, buying sometimes a case at a time from the only retail outlet in the areas where I've lived. I've had to drive as far as 50 miles to get it. I use this in my own home made iced tea for that wonderful 'peach tea' us southerners are known for. Use a Torani pump, 4 squirts in a 24 oz glass with tea and 1 tsp of additional splenda, and you've got a taste you won't forget! I was extremely happy to find the larger bottles here and under the subscription service, I get a product I really like for less without even leaving home.

Flavor Name: PeppermintSize: 3 Verified Purchase
I have been using Torani Sugar Free (Splenda based) syrups for a while and I really like the Chocolate and Hazelnut flavors, so I thought I would try the Peppermint. I make iced coffee at work - coffee over ice with some milk and a shot of Torani for sweetener. I recently bought the three pack of Peppermint and I have to say: it's very strong. The peppermint flavor can easily overwhelm the coffee or the flavor of the milk. I'm not saying it's bad, per se, but it's quite a bit of flavor and I don't really want to overwhelm the flavor of the coffee. So I think for mornings where I want the peppermint flavor, it'll be a very small shot of the peppermint, and a packet of regular splenda to add more sweetener. I might normally use 2 teaspoons of the chocolate or hazelnut but I think that's too much with the peppermint. Torani makes these in plastic bottles - good for shipping, and don't break if you drop them.

I simply slice apples with a corer/slicer (you can cut the slices in half if you like the pieces to be more bite size). Put them in a microwave safe pyrex or glass baking container or bowl (I use a loaf size pan because I do 6 apples at a time). Pour Sugar Free Brown Sugar Cinnamon on top. Stir syrup to coat all pieces. Microwave on high about 6 minutes. More if you like it softer, less if you like a little crunch to it). The aroma says "comfort food" and they taste wonderful warm or cold. Refrigerate leftovers.
