Real wood. You wouldn't think how hard it is to find something made of real, solid, non composite wood. The MyGift brand shelves exude quality and class. The adjustable nature allows them to fit anywhere you could imagine. I ended up buying a second after trying out the first one and I recommend these shelves to everyone. They allowed me to declutter my desk in an elegant as well as functional manner.
The natural pine scent brings a freshness to my office that was unexpected. I went with the whitewashed variant since my desktop is white and it blends in wonderfully. I got the matching computer display stand which is equally useful and stylish. I only wish they still made printer stands. Maybe they'll see this and decide to make more.
My only complaint is that I wish they were taller. They stand about an inch taller than a 3 ring binder. They're sturdy enough for books, but I'd get more functionality with a larger shelving solution. Having said that, I'm very pleased with my purchase. At time of purchase these were about 40 bucks, I wouldn't pay more than 50 though. Cheers!
