I have used a heavy “professional” jack for many years that weighs a Ton and is to tall to fit under lower cars.
I wanted something light, low profile and cheap. This jack fits that criteria well, it is not the best made and who knows how long it will last but Durability doesn’t come with “cheap” so I am ok with it. Using it as a second light duty jack it has fit that roll well.
The wheels aren’t the best as you add weight to it. Maybe some lube on the wheels will help. The handle is very touch when lowering. When you hit the right spot the jack drops Fast, I have been having a hard time smooth/slow/safely lowering it no matter how lightly I turn the handle. Be ready for a faster than comfortable drop speed.

Update:
The jack is to short to fully lift my stock height subaru crosstrek. A bit disappointing that I can’t lift the backend and get the wheels off the ground. Haven’t tried the front.

I have a big milling machine that has a pretty low clearance, lower than my car jack, so I needed something lower profile to be able to pick it up and change out the casters on it. This is super low, as they say, but the overall build quality seems very nice, sturdy. The handle is 2 parts that fit together so you can use it long or short as needed, and the foam grip on the handle is appreciated. But what's much nicer than my other car jack is that the tension/pressure valve you have to twist to lower the jack is integrated into the handle, so you don't have to pull the handle off and fit it over the valve thing and turn it, you can just twist the handle itself, great improvement. Overall just seems like a capable and well designed product.

A very, very standard jack. Nothing to write home about. Good for a weekend diy guy like me but not for a pro in my opinion. Doesn't feel heavy duty at all and operation is not as effortless or as fast as they are claiming. You can find this model under different brands/importers. This Torin version came in a beat up and oversized UPS box without any packaging materials. The unit was badly scratched during transport and I wouldn't be surprised if it was previously returned to Torin by another buyer. I don't really care about the condition, it works and it's not something I plan to display in my living room. I'll probably never buy another Torin product though. I suggest to pay extra to get another brand with proper retail packaging and surely better customer support. The only advantage is that I can carry it with one hand which I couldn't do with my old steel 3 ton. A very generous 3 star... there you go.

I bought this for doing tires in the driveway where I have to carry the jack up a flight of stairs. It's nice and light so it's not a big deal to do that. It goes low enough to get under a car, and high enough to work on a small truck without a block. You would need more lift capacity for some vehicles, but that is to be expected as it is not a large jack being only rated at 1.5 tons. Quick lift function works great, and saves a lot of time. This isn't a professional use jack, it is for a homeowner who needs it every now and then, and it is priced accordingly, but it's much better and safer than bottle jacks, scissor jacks, or some of the smaller floor jacks. Would buy again.
