I bought these awhile back and they've held up well. I do alot of subfloor and deck repair professionally and they have been used. I think they were under $10 when I got them, now they're around $14. They're small, liteweight and reliable.

UPDATE; I've used these pretty heavily so far this year and they've done OK, 2 of them leaked their hydraulic fluid but the other 5 are working fine. I'd say they're a good deal at $10, but only average at the current $14 price.

I bought this jack to do some DIY repairs on my Saab 9-5 Wagon. The car weights 1.6 tons.
I did the initial setup steps to pump out the air from the hydraulic according to the instructions. I turned the valve always according to the instructions.
However, from the first try I have two issues with the jack:
#1 it couldn't lift the car high enough to use a Torin racheting stand for support it, I had to place a concrete block under the jack then I could apply the stand under it.
#2 It can't hold the lifted weight safe and steady! The valve was fully closed for lifting and after it raised to the 3/4 of the whole travel of the piston as soon as I stopped pumping it, it promptly started to slide down slowly. That was an another reason why it was really difficult to apply the stand.

I think it should not slide down without pumping with fully closed valve, so it seems it's defected. I returned and asked for refund, I can't trust this tool anymore.
I bought a Powerzone 380033 2 Ton Steel Floor Jack instead that works fine and I can use it much more easier than the bottle jack, it can lift the car higher and holds it safely until I support it with a jack stand.

Followed priming directions, pumped it up to raise cart, would not lower. Removed it, bled it and redid the raise, still would stick. Would not come down with hand force nor rubber mallet. Bled it once again, lowered it, refilled and packaged for refund.

I like this product because it has the power to lift the front end of a pick-up truck, plus it's compact enough that it fits very snuggly in the back of my seat, when it doesn't take up much room! Thank you and God Bless!

I have had several instances where I have tried to use this jack but it has not worked for me in those applications. It was either too short or I couldn't properly support the load of my motorcycle with the small footprint of the lifter. The hydraulic mechanism is not the easiest to use. You need to support the unit with one hand while you jack it up with what other. Takes too many levers in order to lift it a meaningful distance. For example you may have to pump it 8-10 times to get it to lift one inch.

Overall it is a decent unit if it fits your application. The price is cheap and the unit is small so it is a worthwhile tool to keep in the garage.

Perfect little jack for the price. My husband purchased this specifically to use with our Triton Tilt Trailer. We will be traveling cross-country this summer in our motorhome, and will be towing the trailer behind us (carrying a Goldwing motorcycle). This compact jack fits the trailer perfectly, and we're taking it along in case the trailer blows a tire. He tested it out--it fits and works perfectly and is exactly as described. We're very pleased.

I think my headline says it all, but I will elaborate a little. Say you have a sidewalk that has sunken into the ground on one side, causing a very uneven pathway. First - BUY THESE... 1 Per Sidewalk EDGE you want lifted. Second - Dig holes alongside and then under, the sunken sidewalk edge... These 2 Ton Bottle Jacks are so tiny you will not have to dig very deep. Place the jacks and then jack up the concrete. NOTE: you will be leaving a gap under the concrete. The best thing to do is buy a few bags of cheap concrete or gravel and fill in the void from the now EVEN concrete sidewalk or slab... I am telling you this works BEAUTIFULLY!!!

This jack is exactly the thing i need for my boat trailer. It is relatively compact and easy to store in my truck. I tested it yesterday to jack up the axle on my loaded boat trailer and it worked fine. I left the trailer jacked up for about 30 minutes and it held in place perfectly. A huge improvement over the scissor jack approach and lifts the trailer in a fraction of the time. Great product.
