The Torin hydraulic air jack is designed for commercial use with a fast air pump for reducing lifting time. Hardened alloy-plated ram for maximum durability. Jack includes air valves with integrated filters for sealing the hydraulic unit and preventing contamination. Jack has heavy duty air motor which provides maximum lifting power. Maximum capacity of jack is 24,000 lbs with a lifting range of 10" to 19-13/16".

I was impressed when I received this unit.

It is hard to beat the price, and, especially the shipping costs. The shipping costs from this supplier are really reasonable. The unit performs, and does a decent job for the money.

The positive features include:

(1) You can use a wide range of pressures to operate it. The specs say that it operates between .7 MPa and 1.0 MPa. (MPa = megapascals (which is a clue that this is made in China) (1 MPa is about 145 psi, so, this unit operates between 100 psi and 145 psi)). This is important if you have a compressor that has a maximum working pressure of about 110 psi (most units for consumers are about 100 - 120 psi max.)

(2) It has a quick release couple, already on the unit, right next to the valve. It may only save a few bucks, but, it is one less thing you have to do to make the unit operational. I use a three outlet manifold on my compressor so that I always have a hose free with a female quick couple. This attaches nicely, and, the valve is right on the couple so you can pop it in and immediately begin pressurizing the jack. This is important if you are under a 3 ton vehicle and you want to move, and "fuss" around, as little as possible until you have it solidly on jack stands.

(3) The welds are tight and clean. They aren't the best quality, but, they aren't the worst either. (I've seen some junk come out of China that looked like my five year old had welded it for his art class in kindergarten. The welding on this unit doesn't qualify for freeform art. It's professional).

(4) It has a small pneumatic tank (which is an important feature for an air bottle jack). The tank insures a reserve supply pressure to the hydraulics in case a microscopic leak developes under pressure).Read more ›

I purchased this jack to lift a motor-home. I was hoping that I had bought one that would still be able to lift up the vehicle so I could change a tire on the road if need be. After lifting rear of motor-home as a test with my air compressor, I tried the pump action on the jack, concerned that it may not work due to the fact it was a very short stroke with little resistance pressure. I was impressed that it lifted with ease, though not as fast as the air assist it still worked awesome. Thanks Amazon for selling another great product.

Works very well, I used it as a replaced ram for a 12 ton hydraulic press. It makes the press a joy to use, especially when broaching or pressing longer bushings in or out. Drawbacks are that it's fairly loud, one total actuation will cause my 80 gallon compressor to cycle, and it vents air out of several different ports, which can be annoying. All-in-all, very minor drawbacks considering the time and aggravation it has saved me.

I use these to do work on my pick-trucks and they beat having to (try to) pump regular hydraulic jacks while under the car doing suspension work or the like. I merely press a button and I can attain whatever height I like. The screw top allows me even more adjustability. I'm a fan of Torin products and if they keep making quality tools (selling for reasonable prices), then I'll continue buying their products as I need them.

Now, I just need to make this air jack fit my shop press and things will be great in my shop!

arrived on time, packaged good but didn't work properly. when I hooked it to my compressor nothing happened. I thought it was my air compressor I thought it didn't have enough air pressure so I took it to work and tried it on an industrial 200 psi compressor still didn't work. I had my diesel mechanic look at it and test it and he said the air chamber on the jack had a bad leak. this is when I decided to send it back. it did work manually though just not with the air hose.

I'm raising an old timber frame barn and using a manual bottle jack is pretty scary. With each stroke the barn creaks and pops which is quite unnerving with literally tons of framing overhead. This hydraulic air jack was a joy to use yesterday. I actually removed the trigger attached to the included 4ft hose and installed it to the end of a 30ft hose extension. Now I can setup the jack and operate it safely from *outside* the barn. I have two regrets. First, it would be nice if I could release the jack from outside the barn. And second, I love it so much I should have bought two.

lifts my 5 wheel, not too hard on my compressor. I have see the others with problems but mine works fine. I have lifted the trailer 3 times and ran it up and down about 10. Not saying this will last forever but it seems to be working well after 3 days.

I ran it once with no load to get lube oil in the air system. Retracted it and tried to cycle it again. No sound of movement in the air system, air just blows out and no movement. Jack seem fine, but the air is junk.
