So the designers who build the stuff that we buy want to keep us out of the innards, so first they come up with the torx drive, which at the time nobody could remove, until torx drivers became widely available on the market. So then they stuck a ##### little stem in the middle of the screw and called it a "tamper-resistant" (TR), which is a snide put-down of us do-it-your-selfers (old-fashioned term for "hacker"). They're going to keep me from "tampering" with my own property!

They shoulda known, now the TR version of torx is available on world-wide Amazon. Next I expect that they will devise a torx screw that will spit black ink in your face when you "tamper" with it.

So, review-wise, this is a very basic product, good quality, and the orange rubber holder is a convenient means of keeping the parts together.

The product arrived with some of the center holes off center, so the bits would not go into the security screws. Just happened that the one size I needed was this way.
Reported this to the seller and they promptly sent an upgraded replacement with no hassle. Although I would strongly not recommend this product, I would shop at this supplier again knowing that if something is not right, they will work with me to find an acceptable solution. Those are the types of sellers we need.

I only needed the T27, but it doesn't work at all. The hole in the middle is too small, and it won't enter the head of the screw. I bought just the T27 size at my local Ace Hardware for $1.90, and it works fine. Returning these to Amazon.

This is probably the worse product I have ever ordered on Amazon. Basically these security torx bits are poorly manufactured. The "hollow" portion of the bits are NOT correctly centered on the smaller sized bits; which makes them worthless as they will not fit on the "security screw".
Stay away from these.

I purchased this item about a year ago but never used it until yesterday. I needed a T-20 security bit but when I tried to use the bit from this set, it would not fit the screw head. The hole in the bit was off-center. I looked at the remainder of the set and three of the seven bits had off-center holes. If the hole is not centered on the Torx shape, it will not fit in the Torx screw and over the security pin.

Very good to excellent quality. I have used two of these bits at what I would consider to be the limits of their capacity without causing any damage either from chipping or bending which indicates to me that they are made of properly heat treated tool steel. I am much more likely to lose these before I damage them from normal use. I don't know where they go. (???)

I bought two sets of these bits because I needed two T-10s to repair my Leatherman Wave. Both were stripped before I was even finished reassembling the tool. Now I have two sets of bits that are apparently made of butter and half assembled wave.
