The processor is fast, screen resolution is great, so light, fits in satchel to carry with. (need protective sleeve..next on list)
With the Chrome OS, there are no unnecessary programs running in the background at all times to slow it down, unlike the Microsoft's OS. For a light user, like my daughter, less space was needed. 2GB meets her needs. One app at a time, or she is internet surfing.
We compared it to the highest rated 11 inch ASUS & Acer Chromebooks when shopping. We also considered our brief encounter with a Microsoft Surface, which went back to the store in 2 days. I hated the size, which was 10 inches & the flimsy keyboard accessory we bought to use it clumsily on our laps. No offense to the Surface, it was not meant to be in the hands of someone who prefers a real laptop. I tried to get used to it & my daughter said, "Mom, just take it back!"
We like laptops. The Toshiba CB35-B3330 13.3-Inch Chromebook 2 is comfortable for her. I am so happy I bought it!
Edit: I've been using my Toshiba Chromebook 2 for four months now and I still love it just as much as the day I received it. As stated in my first review I use it for web browsing and web-biased homework and it suits my needs completely. I have had zero issues and would 100% recommend it, and I'm a hard sell. I will continue to update every six months or so so that future buyers can have an idea of the longevity and potential issues with the machine.
This is such a nice little laptop. I have very high standards for products I purchase and this is truly something beautiful that you should buy.
Overall, this laptop feels the exact same to me as a MacBook Air.
I bought this because I'm tired of lugging around my 15", 5.5lb MacBook Pro when I'm on the go. I bought the HP stream first, but it sucked so I returned it; I figured that I would get something similar with this one, but that's not the case whatsoever.
I had no idea it would be this nice.
Wifi Connection: Perfect with it's dual antenas
Trackpad: Perfect feels just like my MacBook (something I hated about the HP stream was its trackpad) One thing is I don't know how to right click yet.
Keyboard: Seems great, thought it'sa bit differnt that my MacBook; it feels more like one for a tablet or something, but I'm typing this review on it right now and I'm probably going 15-20 words per minute without much difficulty
Overall Speed: Very Fast
Overall Feel: a little bit "Plasticy", but doesn't feel that cheap.
I wouldn't mind working on this for 5-6 hours a day, but would prefer a desktop of course.
Anyways, I'm sure no one will read this as it'll be at the bottom of the review, but I wrote it anyways :)
