    The Best Wireless Earphone
I ordered my Liberty+ last week and just received them today. These wireless earphones are hands down the best earphones headphones I've used and I've used many ranging from the new $199 Samsung IconX 2018 to the cheap $34 APEKX Mini True Wireless. My first impression putting the Liberty+ on is "Wow, they're so comfortable!" unlike the Samsung IconX which hurts my ear after 10+ minutes of wearing them. Sound quality is better than your average wired earphones that are included with your phones, but not as good as my full-sized Bose QC-35 which is to be expected. I mainly use my Bose QC-35 while studying while I use wireless earbuds at the gym and subway when you're being active or don't want "headphone hair". The Bluetooth 5.0 connection has surpassed my expectation I haven't had any drop or re-connection issues which happens every time I move on the APEKX.The setup was also very easy, just take them out of the case and connect to them from your Bluetooth menu. When you put them in the case they automatically turn off. When you take them out of the case and put them into your ear, they automatically turn on.Negatives:• The left earphone button presses feel clicky while the right side feels mushy.• When you double press for Siri or Google Assistant, there's a 2 second lag before you can ask your question.• It's very difficult to skip tracks: single tap is play/pause, double tap is voice assistant, 3 second press turns on microphone to hear surrounding, and 1 second long press is to skip track or play previous depending on if your press on left or right earphone. When trying to skip a track, I guarantee you, you'll either activate the pause or turn on surround sound mode instead of skipping the track.•The Zolo app is very basic and plain. I wish you can customize the button presses using the app like the Samsung IconX.Positives:• Almost a week long battery life (48 hours). My 20 hour battery QC-35 usually lasts half a week before I need to charge them.• Most comfortable wireless earphones out there.• No disconnection and re-connection issues.• Easy setup and seamless on/off. Put them in your ear to turn them on, put them in the case to turn them off.Anker has a great track record of creating products, I'm sure their second generation Liberty+ will be near perfect. For those of us that needs the BEST wireless earphone out there currently, this is it.

These earbuds are fantastic! From the look and feel to the sound and performance.

    Look:
The metal charging case feels sturdy in your hand. It’s a good palm size so it’s comfortable to hold, even with my smaller hands. The LED indication lights are bright and easy to see. The charging port is on the side and is easily accessible. The earbuds themselves are tall and slim in comparison to another pair I have (Bose SoundSports). Their overall form factor is small and because of such they don’t extend beyond the ear (for me) from front to back which is really nice. The push button is the majority of the earbud making it very easy to locate and press whenever you need to without molesting your ear.

    Feel:
The earbuds are lightweight that they don’t cause ear strain or irritation after prolonged use. Piggybacking on my comment in the looks, the fact it doesn’t extend too far in any direction is comfortable. They protrude from the ear a bit because of their thickness, but pretty much every earbud does, apart from EarPods I suppose, so I don’t find that a drawback of the design or more to do with the technology. That said, I haven’t had any issues with this and they don’t look utterly ridiculous, if anything I feel like a Cyberman 2.0!
Included with the packaging are a plethora of extra tips to fit all sizes of ears as well as sleeves for the earbuds themselves to fit as snuggly or loosely in your ear as you like via the varying sizes of wing tips, but there’s even a sleeve that doesn’t have the wing for those who find it uncomfortable.

    Performance:
These sound amazing. I’ve struggled to hear the same level of quality in any of my other audio devices. The highs, mids and lows sound amazing. Treble is perky when you want it to be, the mids are ever-present providing phenomenal support and the bass can be thumpy if that’s what you’re into. Sound levels are great. I never feel like I need MORE sound from them. Even at max volume they keep their integrity and don’t distort which is great for my never ending quest to acquire tinnitus! Battery life is phenomenal. I have never received a warning during my use of them that the battery is running low. I actually lost my earbuds at work and a week later they were returned to me, the case was still nice and charged as well with no bleeding which is good assurance that if I neglect these, they’ll still be ready to be picked up and used.
One feature that people seem to be annoyed with is the ambient noise filter, allowing outside sound to be processed through the buds. I haven’t had experience with any others that have this tech in them as my Bose do not, but I think it works just fine for what it does. I am constantly in and out of airports for work and I’m able to throw these in and have full conversations, place meal orders and hear announcements without a problem. It’s an unique feeling hearing this background noise come through, but you get used to it and it’s better having the feature than not at all. I don’t have a gripe with it enough to dock the product points.

Overall. These are fantastic. Especially for the price. I picked them up on sale during V-Day because I’m lonely and have no one to buy presents for but myself so I’m especially happy with the steal I got them for during that period. That being said, if I lost these, I would easily pay full price tomorrow. In comparison to my Bose. I love these. I have had desync issues with my Bose when watching videos and it’s the most obnoxious thing in the world. I have had zero issues when watching videos on any of my devices with these so the connectivity and encoding tech in these word splendidly.

If you’re stuck between choosing these or a competitor. Choose these. You’ll love them. Also, Anker support is the best support team I’ve ever come across. They have a customer first approach and understand that we’re brand ambassadors when we’re happy. I can’t be happy enough.

    This product is pure junk.
I first tested them at home , I noticed a crackling in my left earbud.
Loud but muddy base and ear-piercing treble .
I tried the transparency mode the only thing you can hear better w is yourself talking NOT OTHERS.
In ten minutes I decided to return.
I got up the next no morning and out of curiosity I thought I would try them at work, as it's a relatively loud environment with large open distances.
I used dual audio on my s8 one ear with ,38 tws earbud ,( not my favorite buds , they have minimal base) just to see how they compare.
I connected both sets ,I even made sure to use the right zolo bud. Here's what happened zolo lost connection within 25 feet ,tws still good Zolo reconnected lost again , tws buds 45 feet still good.
So then I tried 13 dollar true wireless earbud and again better connection and better sound minus the base.
I have tried somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-18 different ,( truly wireless ) earbuds and these are definitely the very worst.
    VERY DISAPOINTED
Believe this review and don't waste your time.
UPDATE: ZOLO ,reached out to me after receiving return , they have clarified that the pair I received were truly detective and offered me another try ,( on their dime) to see if they could bring me back to the brand .
I made sure they were aware that if these tws performed the same I would not edit my review they still chose to send me a replacement.
Good sound, (not great) quality materials, and finally earbuds that stay in my ears, (which is one reason I have purchased multiple brands.)
The range was acceptable but not 5.0 distances as expected.
I can't speak to call quality as I only used once in the car at highway speeds.
The comfort was excellent even with long use durations ,the sound is mostly clear minus occasionally sounding muddy at certain times that I have not quite put my finger on but they still sound better than all my other tws buds.
I am satisfied but not truly excited as I expected higher volume levels and better sound tailoring with app which needs work.
I am unimpressed with transparency mode but I have heard the same about a few other brands of tws that include this feature ,(even higher priced buds.)
I don't think any first generation products can claim a home run the first time so
I am upgrading my review from one too 3.5*

5.0 out of 5 stars My Lengthy Review of These Great Earbuds
Reviewed in Canada on March 8, 2018
After about 6 months of waiting for these headphones to come out I finally got them on January 17, 2018. Since then I have used them almost everyday. Additionally, in order to create an honest, in depth review I waited on the review until I could upgrade my iPhone 6 to an iPhone X to get a better sense of the headphones’ connectivity.

    Connectivity
Connecting to the old Liberty+ is just like connecting to any kind of bluetooth device. You take the headphones out of the case, find them in the settings on your device and then you’re all set up. In my experience, you can use the right earphone independently, with the left one in the case, but not the other way around.
For the most part, the connection stayed strong with normal use. Two problems I experienced were frequent interruptions when I would walk around downtown Toronto with the phone in my front pant pocket. If I held the phone in my hand, it was fine. This issue rendered them pretty much unusable in this setting. And less importantly, the bluetooth signal not even penetrating one wall separating my phone and the earbuds.
These problems were present until I upgraded my phone. Once I got a newer phone with newer/better bluetooth technology, the connection to the Liberty was absolutely flawless. I am now able to leave my phone on the top floor of my house and listen to music without interruptions all the way into my basement.
They claim an unbreakable bluetooth connection. And after getting a working phone, I can confirm this is true.
The only minor complaint I have now is if I was last using the earbuds with my computer, and I go to connect them to my phone while my computer is asleep in my backpack, it will connect to the laptop until I take out my laptop, foeget the device, then I can connect to my phone.
I now rate the connectivity of the Zolo Liberty+ a 10/10.

    Sound Quality/Volume
I’m no audiophile, but I can say compared to the Skull Candy and Sennheiser earbuds I have owned, the Zolo Liberty+ are the champs. The sound is nice and balanced between highs and lows, nice bass, not too much.
That’s about all I can say about the sound quality.
I’m not one to listen to loud music in my headphones, but I keep my volume at around 85-90% most of the time. If you like really blaring loud music, these headphones may not be loud enough for you, but they definitely are fine for the average listener.
Based on my needs, I give the sound quality a 9/10.

    Build Quality/Comfort/Fit
The charging case included is made out of aluminum. Seems sturdy, but be careful with the hinge as I could see this bending or breaking if it was yanked or dropped while open. The earbuds are plastic, built well.
The earbuds come with multiple tips to get the best fit for you. I was able to find a good comfortable fit which stay in my ears. I have not tried to run with the headphones in but I have shaken my head around and it’ll be no problem.
    10/10

    Battery Life
To charge the earbuds you just drop the earbuds into the included charging case and they will begin charging. The earbuds are very easy to get in the case but a little hard to get a hold on to get them out. They are magnetized so they will not fall out if flipped upside down. The case charges via Micro USB.
Perhaps the main selling feature of these headphones for me was the battery life, and it definitely did not disappoint. The earbuds themselves have never died on me, and although I always charge the case before it dies, the battery life Zolo claims is definitely accurate or possibly even understated.
    10/10

    Noise Isolation/Transparency Mode
The earbuds isolate background noise about as much as any other pair of earbuds. There is no active noice cancellation so loud abrupt sounds and even the hum of an airplane engine or an approaching subway train are audible. If your music is louder, you will not hear as much background noise.

Transparency Mode uses the microphones on the headphones to open your ears up the world around you. This was a feature I tried a few times, but have not used since. I don’t think it sounds very good, it is not loud enough that if someone is talking to you while you are listening to music, that you would be able to hold a conversation with them. I guess it could be a bit safer walking or biking around a busy city.
I will give this mode a 6/10, definitely should not be a main selling feature.

    Zolo Life App
A pretty much useless app with a bad UI in my opinion. Contains some EQ settings and that’s pretty much it.

All in all, I cannot recommend this product enough. Easy to use, good battery life, good connection, good sound quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing sound, battery life & value for money!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 12, 2019
So this is my second pair of Zolo Liberty+, lost one of the pairs from the original purchase from Kickstarter.

I've also owned Bragi (1st gen) and Jabra Elite Active 65t true wireless earbuds, and I must say the sound quality is amazing on the Zolo compared to both. Bragi was best in terms of functionality vs fit vs sound quality, but 3 times the cost of these (current price), if you have the budget go with Bragi, you wont regret it. After I lost first Zolo pair, I thought I'll try the the Jabra earbuds as it had good reviews, was a better fit and aesthetics but connection kept cutting on the underground, I'm assuming interference. Never had this issue with Bragi or Zolo or other bluetooth headphones I owned. The call quality was really good but music sounded tinny. Messed with equaliser with no clear improvements, just too tinny for me and had to return it.

I use these with both Android and iOS phones and Surface Go tablet with no connectivity issues. I'm not an audiophile but love my music and enjoy making beats when I can find the time, so sound quality is what I judge my headphones/earbuds on. I use flat response headphones for experimenting with music but these are my go to for all other listening!

These Zolo earbuds are brilliant, I cant express how good the sound quality is. When the deep bass kicks in, the mids and lows are so clear.. I am falling in love again with tunes I used to listen to 10 years ago. I can even hear instruments/sounds I never heard on these tunes before. Such a joy rediscovering them. The music also sounds very spacial, not flat at all, like the Jabra.

I've not trained with these before but I feel they will fall. So if this is why you're buying them, dont! Or get a cheap bluetooth £20 earphones for training and these for casual listening or commuting. This is what I do.

The call quality can be better and it's a hit and miss at times. Some calls I get no complaints from the other side but mostly when Im on the train or when windy then the other side compain. I dont spend hours on calls so not an issue for at all! I think Jabra and Bragi were better for calling.

So overall, they have a good seal and have good passive noise cancelling, I get no issues on the underground and when it gets extremely noisy, no issues hearing my music or Netflix. Amazing sound, if you're looking at these earbuds buy it, give it a try, you won't regret it. Battery is also very good, I charge the case once a week. I use these for about 3 hours of playtime a day during commuting or more if I'm in the office and need to disconnect from reality! :)

I look forward to the next generation of these eaebuds! Seriosly, a well done to the Zolo/Anker team! I think the grapehne material has made a big difference to the sound playback which is what made me back the original Kickstarter project.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottime

5.0 out of 5 stars Una pequeña maravilla
Reviewed in Spain on December 11, 2018
