Once in a while I enjoy a good, ingredient-filled salad that will last over few days. What I never enjoy is then trying to serve myself from a larger bowl into a side salad bowl.
Until these server hands. They scoop up a perfect amount in a single go and don't leave a trail of lettuce leaves on their path. Cleanup is as easy as a rinse and quick swipe with a soapy sponge.
I also love the little pegs which keep them from slipping into the salad bowl

Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood— it cleans quickly with hand washing in warm water.
As a grass, its roots remain and quickly regrows after harvest. It's grown organically even on difficult terrain without artificial irrigation or re-planting.
Its root system helps to prevent erosion. And the Moso bamboo used by Totally Bamboo is not a part of the panda's diet.

These just replaced our other bamboo salad hands, which we love. Those are made of several thin pieces all glued together. They have sharp edges and eventually fall apart. I've wood glued and clamped those together, when they come apart, and gotten 10 years of use of of them. They just broke again, and my wife said enough! Replace them! The new ones are made of fewer larger sections of bamboo and are stronger, sturdier, smoother and nicer. They cost a few dollars more but I can see, well worth it! The packaging is environmentally thoughtful...cardboard and natural fiber twine. That was a really nice touch!Looking forward to years of use with these. We haven't used them yet, but I'll say, the wood peg that holds them at the side of the salad bowl is a great feature!
