I volunteered an honest review in exchange for an ARC copy of this book.
In my opinion, any book that gets a teen talking to a parent is good news! I highly recommend it as a worthwhile addition to any home library.

Except "What a Time to be Alone: The Slumflower's bestselling guide to why you are already enough", by Chidera Eggerue - was such an illuminating read, that I loved every moment stolen to enjoy this book from beginning to end.
Each section of the book can be read as a stand alone and deals with a particular topic of interest, always in a tone of celebration, humour and good sense. The many short quizzes help keep the reader thinking and engaged.
This book looks effortless, but it is far from that, it cuts to the core of each discussion point and really puts everything into perspective. Growing up is to be an adventure and you can get what you really want: a full and rich life as a teenage girl.
