About the Author
Erin Nicholas is the New York Times bestselling author of sexy contemporary romances. Her stories have been described as toe-curling, enchanting, steamy and fun. She loves to write about reluctant heroes, imperfect heroines and happily ever afters. She lives in the Midwest with her husband who only wants to read the sex scenes in her books, her kids who will never read the sex scenes in her books, and family and friends who say they're shocked by the sex scenes in her books (yeah, right!).

Sophie loves the old playhouse she has inherited from her grandmother and she also cares deeply for the crazy nerdy group of friends who have helped her keep it operational. A fire breaks out and threatens to destroy the theater and Sophie’s first concern is salvaging the play written by one of her friends and fellow theater supporter. She runs into the burning building and is followed by Finn who is a police officer on site at the fire. Finn cannot believe what he is seeing… a beautiful woman scantily clad in her underwear is trying to get back into the building!
Thus begins the story…. Finn comes from a large loud Irish family who watch out for and who care for each other. Sophie on the other hand is an only child of a charming con-man and who has never really had a place to call her own. Her father, Frank, is part owner of the playhouse and shows up only when he needs money or a place to stay. As Sophie works to rebuild the theater, Finn, his mother and his band of police and fireman “brothers” come to her rescue... refurbishing the theater and in the process, a relationship blooms in spite of the obstacles of Sophie's past and Finn's over-protective personality.
The book is well-written and the characters are believable. By the end of the book, I had grown to love Finn and Sophie and to definitely dislike Frank! I have read the previous two books in the series and I enjoyed seeing the characters from those books included in cameo parts in this book. As the old adage says....Opposites truly do attract.
I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book through NetGalley and offer here my honest opinion.
Wow! Erin Nicholas really is a Rock Star. I love her writing style. She puts all the elements that make a great book into her books. Often she goes above and beyond what is needed. I truly enjoyed this book. I am sad to know it is the last in the Opposites Attract Series. (At least for now I hope) This book has a great plot line. It has some great plot lines for secondary characters. This book is unique in the fact that not only do you have firemen and police officers but you have geeks. You also get a lot of emotion. I cried and laughed and my heart swooned and I even got angry (at Frank). The perfect ending to a great series. You feel all the characters emotions when you read Totally His. The characters struggles are realistic and as a reader you find yourself being able to relate. I just loved every moment of the book. To write like Erin Nicholas would be a dream come true. To have half her talent and creativity would also be a dream come true. Just pure talented. In Totally His we finally get Sophie's story.
Sophia "Sophie" Birch is an actress. She loves all things theater. Sophie is sassy and smart and very independent.
Frank is Sophie's father and nothing more than a con man and a lousy man in general and we hate Frank. EVERYBODY HATES FRANK!!!
Finn Kelly is a police officer. Finn's mom Angie is good friends with Sophie. From the moment Finn meets Sophie he is instantly smitten with her. Finn is charming and sweet.
Totally His is a great romance novel. Erin Nicholas did an amazing job. Just an all around enjoyable read. Totally His was so good I could not stop reading it and read it all in one sitting. I also read Totally His a second time and I kid you not I am on my third read of Totally His. I hope one day Erin Nicholas will give us more in this series and maybe do a spin off. I love all her books and always buy her books no matter what she's just that good. I give this a definite Five Stars.
Sophie and Finn are my two favorite characters, Sophie is full of spit and vinegar and Finn is an Alpha Cop with a sweat side. This is a must read book!
"So what do you listen to when you roll out to a fire?" Zoe asked. The firefighter grinned. "Slippery When Wet." Zoe lifted a brow. "Bon Jovi?" Sophie was impressed a girl her age would know Bon Jovi's older stuff. "Of Course. We're all living' on a prayer each time," the guys said with a grin.
