I'm this book, we're introduced to Braden, a witch hating wolf & Maeve a witch.
A page turner each & every time, a race to the end only to realise you want more.
I will definitely be reading the next in this series & have no problems recommending it to all paranormal lover's everywhere.

A Touch of Flame is book #5 of Caris Roane's Flame Series.
Got to love the hunky wolves. Awoooooo! This is also the first book without a color of flame in the title.
This series, more so than the other series, you can really start reading with this one and not really miss much. There's not really a running background from the other Flame books. Seems to have it's own villain in it.
We have strong believable characters, and the villainess to hate. Lots of action, some happy and sad moments. Oooh and the love scenes. Fur was flying and the love scenes add to the story, not there just to have them in the story. If you're not in the mood, it happens, just skim through it, but in or out it flows within the story.
Did you enjoy this one, go back and grab the others.
Braden has been looking for 18 months, for the witches that killed his wife. He has stopped at Maeve's candle shop and got to know her but he doesn't know about her sanctuary and what she does for other alters.
As they hunt for the most evil witch, they are falling for each other. But Maeve has secrets could destroy their budding relationship.
Wolves, witches, ghosts and really hot sex. Good story. Loved the characters.

I really enjoyed reading Touch of Flame. What I liked to most was how the Braden and Maeve are able to overcome the fear and pain of loosing a spouse to finding peace with each other. I also thought is was unique in the way they were able to find closure from loosing their spouses. Maeve was my favorite character because despite everything she lost to the altered serum and other nefarious characters, she was able to find her place in a violent environment and make a huge difference for many of those the Five Bridges.
A Touch of Flame is worth reading and more. I would recommend it to everyone. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
