Great mata for your new Model 3. Nothing else exists yet from suppliers that will eventually mold exact-fit floor mats, so this is the next best thing. Floor mats are sturdy rubber, laser cut from a large flat sheet. They are cut to the exact size of the model 3 carpets, so they fit just fine. They don’t have a lip or raised edge, but the hexagon pattern keeps dust contained really well. The back side has rubber nubs that grip the carpet well. I installed these over my existing carpets, but you could just as easily replace the existing carpets. They come with plastic clips but I found I didn’t need them. Would definitely recommend!

These are a solid choice for my model 3. My only issues are that they’re not as thick (sturdy) as I expected. They also don’t have a raised border around the outside, so a large amount of liquid or dirt won’t stay contained on the mat. And no matter how I try and position the front passenger mat, the fit is fair at best.

My guess is that these are indeed cut specially for the model 3, but not designed for the model 3 of that makes sense. They’re not a factory finish or quality that you would get from the manufacturer or big name in the space.

That being said, I think it’s a fair deal for the price, but I’d be willing to pay more for a higher quality product.

I like how rear middle covers better than OEM mats

These fit Tesla Model 3 perfectly and covers all areas. I like how rear middle covers better than OEM mats. These are little bit oversized to go over OEM mats and I like the fact these can put on top of OEM mats. But I do wish it is extended little more by an inch so that it fits tightly corner to corner so dirt does not fall at the edges.

Also, wish trunk mat covers raised sided in the trunk. The OEM mat covers it well, but of course just Trunk and Frunk mat cost you as much as this whole set.

It has some smell when installed but went away in couple of days. As some reviewers explained, these are cut from honeycomb pattern flat sheet and can hold decent amount of liquid, but there is no raised edge around the mat.

Despite this product can be improved further, for the price this can not be beat.

One of my first accessories for the Model 3. I like these as they protect all the surfaces, rather than compromise and only protect a few. I've hauled stuff from the big box home improvement store without worries because of these mats. I was a little worried that the mats might detract from the look of the interior, but to me, they fit right in to the basic black interior. Not having the lips on the edges is fine with me. I've had those before and after a while the lips sag and look bad. However, I'm just trying to protect against rain and dirt, maybe the lips would be useful for caked on snow. I put the mats on top of the factory mats. One hardly knows they are underneath.

I was waiting for the "other" company to come out with their laser designed mats which I've used for 15! years in my Camry. After reading the reviews here I decided to try these out. I left them outside for a few days before the car arrived to rid them of any odors but I really didn't find they had that strong "plastic" smell.
In the past I have always removed the OEM carpet but I placed these right over the original Tesla mats and I really liked the fit. It was easy to figure out what went where--the contours of the mats are very good. I did not use any of the mounting clips--it seems that fit pretty good with the built in barbs on the underside of the mat.
The honeycomb design is not my first (or second) choice but it works with the Tesla...maybe even more so than the ribbed design of other mats.
These are definitely worth consideration. They are a lot cheaper than the other ribbed mats will be and now that I have lived with the honeycomb design I've come to get used to it.

I started playing the mats from the trunk, then the bottom area of the trunk, then the frunk. Great! I’m like wow this is really good, besides for the weird cuts in the trunk but that’s the trunk itself maybe I would’ve forgone the cuts. Then I do the back seat fits great besides for that weird cut behind the passenger side seat, whatever I’ll live with it. Then I go to the driver seat, not fitting so good which is no problem except for the fact that the flap for the area where your foot rests all the way to the left does not stay on and easily and slides off. And the cut isn’t long enough because no matter what I did couldn’t get it right. I saw some earlier comments complaining it wasn’t there, I really wish it wasn’t it’s not needed and could be dangerous if it effects the brake pedal. Even then I’m like whatever maybe I’ll just cut the flap off. But then the passenger seat doesn’t fit at all. I’m surprised I’m the only one saying anything about it, didn’t really see much about that in the comments. I have a 2020 model 3, so maybe some changes? I doubt it. Really can’t comprehend how the entire car is great besides the front two seats. I think the car mats on the website are a little more pricey without the trunk and frunk mats. I’m still debating whether to return or not.

This mat set fit perfectly in my Model 3, looks great, and provides protection from wet and mud. I'll frequently be loading bicycles in and out of the trunk so a trunk mat was real important for me. Except for the Frunk i took out all of the OEM mats and replaced them with the ToughPRO set. But the way, I have had no issues with these mats smelling bad or outgassing.

Just got my Model 3, and couldn't wait to put these in.
The cloth mats that came with the car are low quality (didn't expect it to be high anyways).
There are cut to shape so fit pretty well. Has a clean look. With there were high edges, but I can understand how it's easier to manufacture there with a edgeless design. I think it's still effective edgeless (unless you're in very wet region and/or snowy area). I live in California so I'm not worried about that part.
