Tower Adventurer Inflatable SUP Package:
Includes a 9'10" x 32" x 6" inflatable SUP, 3-PC Fiberglass Paddle, high-pressure SUP pump, high-end Tower branded diamond grooved deck pad, removable center fin, a hand hold strap, a roll-up carrying strap. The Adventurer 1 is a great all-round sup, for flatwater activities such as fishing, yoga, touring or even sunbathing!
A Giant Leap forward in Inflatable SUP Design:
4" blow up SUPs (which is pretty much all inflatable SUPs on the market) leave a lot to be desired. They sag in the middle, slowing you down and ride low in the water so you end up standing in a puddle of cold water. The 6" thick, military grade Tower Adventurer Inflatable paddle board is dramatically more rigid, plus it floats higher in the water - so no wet feet. But this is only one of many attributes that set the Adventurer iSUP apart from the competition.
A Viable EPS/Epoxy Board Alternative - We're not kidding:
Traditionally, inflatable SUP boards were only a consideration for traveling but With the rigidity of the Tower Adventurer, an inflatable SUP is now also a viable EPS/Epoxy board alternative for anyone who isn't a die-hard surfer.
Performs Like a Hard Board
The Tower Adventurer 1 inflatable stand up paddleboard is made from extremely rugged materials like those you'd find on the highly regarded Zodiac boats and river rafts. The Adventurer 1 is made with drop-stitch technology which uses thousands of fibers that connect the top deck to the bottom to hold it's shape. When inflated the board has the rigidity of a piece of plywood. We can put the nose of the Adventurer 1 on a chair and the tail on another chair and a 200 pound person can stand in the middle with very little flex.
Riding a rigid inflatable SUP will make you feel like you’re on a hard board without compromising stability or performance. Many inflatable stand up paddle boards (SUPs) on the market are still only 4” thick and pretty difficult for an adult to comfortably ride. Our inflatable SUPs have been at least 6” thick since we first produced them years ago, making our boards 4x as rigid with 2x the weight capacity. The added benefits make Tower SUPs a great option for beginners and tandem riders alike.
Durable Enough to Run Over
That’s right--forget about dents and dings with inflatable boards. These no hassle boards can be used in white water rapids and paddled onto rocky shores. We’ve even thrown them off of buildings and run them over with a car and they’re no worse for the wear. The durability comes down to the top notch drop-stitch construction (for rigidity) and military grade material (for exterior strength) of our boards. Be weary of newer boards made with the fused process. While they may be lighter, they lose rigidity and durability in the construction process and are much cheaper boards overall.
Store or Take It Anywhere
Storing a stand up paddle board has never been easier. A deflated inflatable SUP is about the size of a rolled up sleeping bag. This allows you to tuck it into the trunk of your car and easily store in a closet. Additionally, inflatables are pretty lightweight, so even petite riders can transport the board. There’s no need to rent a board when you’re on vacation--just check it on the plane with you. And in the off season you can simply store it in the garage or shed. Cold temperatures won’t hurt them at all.
Easy Enough for Anyone to Learn
Paddleboarding is the fastest growing watersport because just about anyone any age and skill level can learn how to SUP. It’s a great way to get the family together or mix up your workout routine. And at the end of the day, it’s easy to just roll up and stow away or keep inflated all season long. Maintenance is simple, just rinse after use and use mild soap and water when it’s time for an extra cleanup. Inflatable paddle boards make owning a SUP a no brainer.

My experience with SUP...
-Never owned anything but this board
-Have paddled a lot of middle quality rigid boards
-Have paddled once or twice on a nice race quality rigid board
As a SUP...
-It's long, which makes up for the stability you lose being slightly higher off the water than on a rigid board
-If you paddle pretty hard/fast it won't really hold a line as well as a rigid board that has a small wedge in the front. I found the nose rotating a few degrees every strong paddle, which gets annoying on long paddles when you have a destination in mind
-The included paddle works find, I would not recommend buying an aftermarket, it'd be like adding BMW performance tires to a Buick
As a recreational 'water toy'...
-Kids would use the board to ferry up to 5 people across the small bay we lived on
-I fished with the board a few times, just secure a tacklebox or cooler to the front and you're good to go
-Pumping from fully deflated/stored to recommended 14'ish psi takes a good 5 minutes of intense pumping or 10 minutes of relaxed pumping. I tried using an electric mattress pump once but it was too difficult matching up the dissimilar hoses.
-We left the board outside quite often in the sun, and after about a year the gray carrying handle degraded and the black grip pad began to flake a little bit
-The body of the board has held up great. I rammed it into some barnacles at full paddle (on accident) and it had noting more than a slight scratch. The fin took some decent hits too but didn't get more than a few knicks
-After two years the paddle won't completely hold it's position. With hard pulls/strokes it slips a bit
-Unlike a rigid board, this will not retain much resale value. I looked into selling it on CL, but I wouldn't have gotten more than 20% of what I paid, whereas a lot of decent rigid boards will fetch 50-70% of their original price
Buy this board if...
-You are looking to spend less than $1500 on an equivalent rigid board
-You like to paddle board recreationally
-You want a durable and versatile water toy that doesn't take up the entire garage
-You don't plan on selling the board to upgrade to a higher quality SUP in the future
Deflating the board and rolling it up took some effort to make it compact. Mostly because the SUP is sturdy and the material on the exterior is hefty. Still I got it very flat and well rolled by starting to rol it at the end opposite the air valve. The securing wrap strap is great. I will update my review after I get it out on the water but so far I am very happy. Be aware that there is a clip ring on the front and back of the board. If you want to add a tie down cargo net be aware the material is not really conducive to suction cups because it is not as smooth as a rigid board. I ended up getting raft tie downs that are adhesive made by Sea Summit and a net that clips on with small D rings.
Update: I have taken this board out probably 20+ times now and wanted to update. I continue to use the pump it came with and it does the job in about 4-5 minutes now. I considered the Tower electric pump but at $130 I just couldn't justify it given the manual pump is not a pain to use and lightweight.
The board has been fantastic. In lakes, reservoirs, a city recreational canal and the Gulf of Mexico. I have gotten more efficient getting it ready to use and packing it away. The added tie down net and Sea Summit adhesive attachment pads function great and still allow the board to be rolled tightly. The material the board is made of has held up great although there are a few stains from organic matter and algae in the water that woun't even show up on a darker color present. I haven't tried to clean the board but I suppose a 409 type cleaner would take them off. I've invited friends who are solid SUP owners to try my board when I take it to their lake houses and their reviews have been positive, most quite surprised that it feels highly responsive under them and is faster than they expected. They feel confident on it and while it does have a slightly different feel to a solid board they have found it a great board and good compromise for portability.
I love it more each time I take it out.

I have paddled up on to rough beaches and river edges, no scars or marks. To a lighter paddler very stable and easy to paddle.
The pump is easy and quick to use. Only slight draw back, extra length might make it a bit less tippy for someone of my size.
All my grown up children find it incredibly easy to use.
Although I haven't had the chance to get it wet yet, it's dead easy to inflate and super rigid once up. It's a great looking piece of equipment and in all honesty the only problem I have is living too far inland and not getting a chance to get out to use it on the sea more frequently. Next stop is getting out on the reservoir in Llandegfedd next time I'm back in Wales!
The kit is top quality and is easily assembled once you have taken it out of the box. Inflation is incredibly easy with the pump and get's you nice and warmed up for the reliable English weather. Deflation takes seconds and the board wraps up nicely ready for another day. I have taken the board out a couple of times now to a number of local lakes and the build quality is awesome, the drop-stitch construction and the 6" thickness makes the Adventurer feel like a solid SUP board. It's super light and easily transportable with the handle in the middle of the padded area.
The quality and PVC material is incredible and even my Father is thinking of purchasing one and he's never seen a Paddle Board in his life.
I have let my friend use the board for her Yoga Classes and she is raving about it and highly recommends Tower Paddle Boards.
When I first ordered it, I was worried about it as I did not get to see it in person. As soon as it got delivered which was much quicker than expected, all the doubts went away. This is a GREAT product and very easy to inflate, takes no time at all to get it ready for use.
I would absolutely recommend buying this product if you are searching around for paddle boards this is the one to buy.
