"liquid dreams" - so cheesy. it took me a second to realize that the whole concept of the song is *gasp* dirty. it's very easy to catch yourself singing along, though.
"every six seconds" - one of those songs that just squirms into your brain after you declare that you absolutely hate it. it's priceless to hear trevor saying seductively "halfway to the towel's as far as you get!"
"girl" - yeah, so they're not inventing the wheel here.Read more ›
This is a good first CD. The music, however has the same theme to it, which I found a little too repetitive. But considering the intended audience, appropriate. Some songs I liked more than others. The first song, which is the title song of this album "Liquid Dreams", was not very appealing to me. It struck me as some kind of "spoof" one might find on an Al Yankovic recording. However, listening to it a few more times I found that it grows you.
I was suprized to see how nicely "All for Love" and "Baby I Would" turned out. These two songs were featured on the TV show, on which it was portrayed as if the guys couldn't get it together. Most of the time they were off-key and it seemed that they were never going to get the "hang" of this "professionial artist" title. They were far from being professionial. With the enhancement that the studio did on these two titles, they have become a hit in their own right!
The one song, however, that I feel will make it big for these guys is "All Or Nothing." This has the makings of being a smash! It's style, meoldy, and lyrical performance has the potential to become the signature song of O-Town, much like "Bye Bye Bye" has done for N'Sync.Read more ›
