Willow is a who're and grey is a cheating a$$. Willow is the worst, uses her body to get what she wants. oh and I love when she tells grey there can't be anything because Quinn is her friend and then she shows him her bare breast. Then later talking about respecting Quinn but then saying she needs to get grey for herself. You need to look up the word friend and respect because you don't know the meanings.

Willow and grey just ruin the whole book.

I hate grey, I hate men like him. Tells Quinn all these lies, cheats and then thanks of willow when he has sex with Quinn. You want us to like these people not hate them. They ruin the story for me.

I don't care what the reason, once you cheat, I hate you.

R.o.o.k. And m.a.I.s.y. She was just a weak door mat. He treated her like trash, she stripped and went down on him after seeing him getting a lap dance. She became a who're just like willow. He is a cheater and has no respect for women. I'm so confused on why we should like any of them.

I want romance, not this cheating b.s. why could you not write that he stood up to his dad for the women he loves. I wish you would write that he grew a pair and did right by the women he loved instead of being pushed over and cheating. Now of course the next book your going to turn her into a bigger door mat because she is going to forgive him just because he says I sorry or I love you. Your not going to give herself respect because she is still going to love him and get back with him even after seeing him have sex with another women.

I would like it just once if the guy cheats, for you to give the women pride and self respect for her to find a man who would not do that to her. Instead of making her weak by going back to him.

Well it's 5am, and I should be sleeping, but I couldn't fall asleep until I finished reading this! (Good thing, because my power was down to 5%!). Where to start? Um, how about Rook?!?! Yeah, he's going to stick around my head for awhile. What is it about these unrepentant bad boys that makes us love them so much? Rook definitely makes mistakes, and even tells Maisey that he'll continue to make them, but you know that hurting Maisey is really the last thing he wants to do. The alternating POV was never confusing, and made you feel a deeper connection to all the members of both Twisted Perfection and Shattered Souls. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series (what an ending!) , with more on all of the characters. Ms. Quinn is a new author to me, so it looks like I'll be purchasing her other books while I'm waiting for more Toxic!

HOLY COW Meghan ... Rook Tyler brooding alpha rock star ... set my panties on FIRE!!! I absolutely loved Rook and Maisy, but the rest the band members were just as amazing I loved them ALL, and honestly I think that says a lot about a book when you can truly say that there wasn't a single person that you didn't like. I also loved that we got to hear from each and every characters POV. If you haven't yet picked this book up I highly recommend it!!!

“You’re an addiction I can’t overcome, no matter how hard I try.”

Rook Tyler, sexy hot lead singer of Shattered Souls, brooding alpha male, best friends and confidants Jack Daniels, drugs, and women. Rook lives for performing and writing music, trusts no one, and lives his life in a drug induced haze so that he doesn't have to feel anything. He desires to just be numb he longs to wash away the painful memories of his childhood and his feelings of being unworthy. The only people he has ever allowed into his life are his three band members, Cruz, Landon, and Grey. This has been his life and his reality until he hears the voice of an angel, Maisy Madison, and then he doesn't stand a chance. She will be the end of him and he knows there is nothing he can do to stop it.

Maisy Madison has had a hard life, she lost her mother, had a father that abused her and then ended up in the foster care system. The best thing that has ever happened to her though was growing up in the system with the two people she loves the most, Kaid and Willow the other members of Twisted Perfection. Maisy is the head of the band, the lead singer, and will do anything to get her band noticed.

Let me start by saying if you are looking for a smooth ride through flowery fields with unicorns and rainbows this is not the book for you. I love books like this and the authors who have the guts to write them. Life isn't wrapped up in pretty paper and tied off with a big red bow....why write about it like it is all so easy. Most of the one star ratings are complaining about the cheaters. They hate the cheaters. So do I, but they exist. Why can't they be put in a book like this that is a dark, realistic view of this lifestyle. I personally get tired of reading those books that have the characters meeting, falling in love and living happily ever after with no rough patches or weakness shown in anyone.....the male character meets the female character and suddenly nothing else exists but them.....all the temptations cease to exist and they walk through life with blinders on and only see each other. I enjoy reading about their struggles and the journey that makes the end game more fulfilling.

All of that being said.....
I think Maisey should have found her voice earlier and let Rook have it. She needs to be a stronger person and stand up for herself. I got a little tired of the same old, same old going on with them. Set the stage for them then let it come to a head. The constant angst got old.

There aren't enough books like this out there. I hope this author stays true to her story and doesn't sugar coat anything. Those kind of books are a dime a dozen.
