The only downside is that when you pop out some of the paper toys, they easily rip the actually toy if you are not extra careful. And we have to use tape, as glue sticks and glue is not strong enough. I bet that Zots or double sided tape would work great.
I recently purchased her latest book, "Christmas Paper Toys You Can Make Yourself". I am now convinced that I need to buy all of her paper toy books! It is a lovely collection of paper toys and little gift boxes, printed with vibrant colors on some of the very best paper stock.
The book contains eleven paper toys, from a simple "Secret Christmas Box" to a more intricate "Winter Wonderland". My lucky friends, from neighborhood children to young adults in college, will be receiving Marilyn's paper toys this Christmas. The toys are sturdy enough to be tucked away and brought out year after year to adorn the Christmas tree.
Now, like a kid in a candy store....which one do I choose for myself?
