I said in a previous review on a different model, the E6 that I wouldn't try Moto brands anymore. I saw the price on this one and gave it a try. This hasn't disappointed so far, looks and feels like a much more expensive phone.

Even better than some of the more expensive phone phones Ive gotten in the past, pretty impressive. Why get a Iphone and break the bank when you can get this gem.

....it came locked, which is why the price was low (and a Prime deal), but this was for a child who does not have service and only uses it online. He wasn't thrilled at first because this is the same phone his mother owns (*gasp* imagine being a 13-year-old boy with his mother's phone), but we got him a cool case and he won't ever go back. Love the larger screen. I struggled at first with the weird movement commands that close or move apps when I don't want them to, but I've adjusted. The movement commands can be turned off, but are so useful that surviving the learning-curve was worthwhile to me, and to my son. I took this model of phone with me while on a trip and was able to do my online teaching; to say it meets my needs is an understatement. I also appreciate the extra space in the hard-drive, and the ability to add even more memory. The camera is excellent; I've been impressed. I'm sure there are better phones, at higher prices, and I know that this is a "lay-person's" opinion, but I would highly recommend this phone to anyone, and especially for younger children. For the price, it's great.

Unable to Swap Existing SIM Card to New Phone

I have a current Tracfone Smartphone plan on an unlocked Motorola smartphone on the Verizon network and thought that I could insert the existing sim card into this new Motorola Moto E smartphone that is locked to Tracfone on the Verizon network. When I inserted the existing sim card into this new phone I was able to send and receive phone calls and only send text messages. I could not receive text messages or obtain a 4G LTE connection. I am able to connect to the internet via wi-fi. I could not adjust the APN settings to be more compatible with the Verizon network because the phone is locked and does not allow adjustment to APN settings.

In the past I was able to insert my existing sim card into another unlocked Motorola smartphone that is compatible with the Verizon network and adjust the APN setting or create a new APN setting as necessary to make it work on the Verizon network.

It appears that Tracfone want me to create a new account with the sim card that was included with the new phone. While it may be possible to transfer my existing phone number to the new account, I don’t think my accumulated existing minutes, data, text and plan expiration date will transfer over. Furthermore I did not receive the free $20.00 airtime activation promotion that was suppose to be included.

This phone is also annoying because Motorola eliminated the traditional efficient Android back button and replaced it with a less intuitive and efficient two step Moto swiping action.

I have an Iphone 6S and I was very happy and content with it. Then news hit that I would not be able to upgrade to iOS 15. So I decided to jump ship to Android. Aesthetically the phone looks fabulous. On par with the bigger phones, nice clear picture.

Unfortunately, the phone I was shipped seemed to have a defect to it. It was typing letters I did not type. And also switching from iphone to Android caused major issues with text messaging even though I turned off the right settings in my Apple Account to avoid iMessage intercepting my messages on the phone switch.

I'm not going to send it back I will keep it hoping I can get warranty service from Tracfone as I don't have time to send it back (Have to care for a sick family member)

Thought I would enjoy this phone and I really wanted to but not going to happen this time. Switched back to my old iPhone and won't upgrade anytime soon.

For anyone looking for a really basic phone....just know this one is more complicated. It's necessary to get to know and understand how this phone's features work.

I'll update later on how it actually functions, but for now I can tell you make sure to turn on all notification for apps during the setup. You can turn them off later. One good feature is this phone can recognize and transfer most of your apps and all your contacts from your old phone. All you have to do is open Google....the big G in the white circle, and tell the phone to transfer your data.

The keyboard is sensitive. The phone is very sensitive to touch, which can be both good and bad. It's easy to open apps you don't want to and misspell words, but it scans barcodes easily and opens apps very fast.

large screen.touch screen too responsive at times. the keyboard is horrible. i get a letter wrong on every word. no matter what. space bar never works on 1st tap.
UPDATE: This phone has great specs,dont let that make yur decision for you. This phone has a 6.2" screen. That is it.
1. the touchscreen has mind of its own.
2. keyboard no matter which one i use ,will frustrate and make you want to throw the phone,ex. i just now had to retype every other word. Always one letter is wrong,NO MATTER WHAT.
3. PHONE PAGES FLUTTER AT TIMES. LIKE THE SCREEN PAGES ARE DETATCHED AND PHONE IS BEING SHAKED. This phone has a life expectancy of a house fly,as i will end up crushing it one day, probably sooner than latter.

Compré este equipo para usarlo como tablet, en realidad tiene prácticamente todas las funciones, instalé whatsapp y lo configuré con otro número y de esta manera siempre puedo hacer llamadas o mandar mensajes con wifi.
Un equipo lo uso para que los niños puedan ver sus clases o tareas y como celular secundario. Lo compré por menos de 800 y siento que valió 100% la pena.
El otro equipo lo uso para el negocio, para los cobros con tarjeta con kiwi o clipp, en el negocio siempre tengo internet así que no hay problema.

Para el precio en el que lo conseguí puedo decir que es una excelente compra. No vas a encontrar un celular con todo lo que tiene a ese precio. No vas a poder hacer llamadas con el pero eso es lo de menos. La calidad de la cámara es decente en modo retrato, la pantalla no es full HD pero es nítida y da buena iluminación. Tiene una buena fluidez y el equipo no se te va a lagear fácilmente. Obtuve más de lo que pagué. Incluso el mirroring con el chromecast ha sido excelente, con poca latencia.
