This clock is the best little novelty invention I have seen. It is perfect for hiding little things in that you don't want anyone knowing about. When we have little cash amounts in the house that we are saving for a rainy day and such, it's the best because I do not have to worry about visitors seeing money laying around etc. From the front, it looks like any other standard clock; I was expecting it to be a little bulkier considering its function but it literally looks like an el cheapo clock you would by from a store just to have for time on the wall. It's great and I recommend this specific item to anyone who has little items here or there that they don't want lying around. Who would think to look in the clock??? LOL.

I use it to hide jewelry that I rarely wear. The clock itself is a light and flimsy, but for the price, it serves its purpose. It has held up just fine, because I do not access my contents often. On the rare occasion I do, I just use a "light" touch and take care not to be too rough while opening/closing it. The battery and mechanism is still going strong.

It seems like 8 year olds have a knack for finding things where parents hide them. Our boy is better than a blood hound when it comes to finding the wii remotes when my wife & I are outside working around the house. With our new "clock" on the wall, he has no clue THAT'S our new hiding spot for the remote & game cards for his D.S. Truly a simple but effective place keep things hidden but handy to grab before he comes around the corner! As far as he's concerned, mom & dad have become "magic" when it comes to retrieving his hidden items without him being able to have any idea where we hide them. Great idea, terrible execution

At first glance I thought the clock looked obviously thick. As I held the clock up to the wall (to mark where to put nails/screws) I noticed it was not closing properly. After closer look I could see the hinge pin had slid out almost half way. Looks like manufacture put some hot glue on the top of the pin to prevent the it from coming out only they did not put any on the bottom so it slid right out of the hinge. I put pin back in and jammed some of the glue in the bottom to hold the pin in place. After fixing that I pounded in couple of nails and while opening and closing the clock the "tab" that holds the face closed broke off!! My lord this is a pos. So now the clock freely swings open with nothing to hold it closed. I will attempt to add pictures.

A "safe" place for keys.

I bought this safe to hold the keys and combination to my personal items safe and the keys to my gun safe. I needed to A. find a place for these keys somewhere easy for my sister to locate in case something happens to me and my husband and B. make them secure from my teenager. The gun safe is in the basement laundry room, so I put up the clock in there.

It serves the purpose well, but I admit the construction is a bit flimsy. It has three holes on the back; I just put it up with nails and it shifts when I open it, so I'm going to have to replace them with screws. The little shelves inside don't hold much at all; it's adequate for a couple of sets of keys and nothing more. I will also have to glue a little fabric on the shelves because the keys slide right out when the clock moves when I open it. I have it at least six feet off the floor to discourage anyone (kid especially) for looking closely at it, so when it rocks when I open it, the keys fall out.

The clock itself works well. It's easy to read and makes an audible ticking noise. That's a feature I like but others may not. Overall, kinda cheap, but okay to me for my use and for the price.

This clock looks like any other, but I can place some small valuables in it and feel confident that thieves wouldn't find it. Great product! The price is right at $9.99, but shipping was steep for the price of the item (another $7.50). The clock is still a good value even at $17.50 total. It is thick, so it must be hung in a place where you wouldn't view it from the side (eg. over a door at the end of a hallway). I had no problems with anything broken upon delivery or anything breaking during installation, but it is made entirely of plastic.

I bought the wall clock with the hidden storage for the storage part and not the clock part but I must admit that the clock is superb as well. The clock requires 1 AA battery to run (I found an old battery that I thought was discharged - to my surprise it works and still runs. I am not sure whether this means that the clock doesn't require that much juice or I got lucky with a good battery, either way I enjoy my wall safe. By the way, no one has suspected that it has stuff hidden inside yet...
