It covers a lot: soil and crop management and the best crops to use for pasture, seeds, fruits, and berries; some dairy farming ideas are not particularly relevant today but might be useful for someone with a few cows; it covers general livestock farming. Other chapters on insect control, disease management, and farm machinery are pretty much dated.
However, the basic information is there and will be very helpful to a small farmer or truck gardener.
Would highly recommend for those with an abiding interest in farming and agriculture.
