I love it!!!! I love the roasted flavor and then I just add a little honey. In 3 consecutive days of drinking it, my digestive tract was eliminating toxins and I felt so good. It has helped me stay regular. I recommend it

I started drinking two cups of Spearmint tea a day exactly one month ago. For six months, I have been struggling with hormonal cystic acne between my eyebrows and around my mouth, which begins forming around ovulation every month. It consists of painful, large, bright red bumps that are deep under my skin, with no hope of coming to a head for at least 2 weeks after they form. I have tried everything under the sun in the last six months, apart from oral medications, which I refuse to utilize. I've used drawing salves and blister bandaids, I've cut dairy out of my diet, and I've drank apple cider vinegar. I've used strong cleansers, toners, and moisturizers... and also the most gentle ones.

After months of Googling, researching, and reading, I came to a hopeful conclusion about why I was getting this specific kind of acne. High androgen levels. Google it, I won't try to explain it in my own words. But the only solutions I could find for high androgen levels were birth controls, hormone pills... and spearmint tea. What?

To make this long story shorter, I ordered spearmint tea on day 14 of my cycle, the 6th time in 6 months that I started getting cysts. I drank two cups a day, every day for a month, knowing that I'd probably see results in exactly a month, if I'd see them at all. A month later, I have zero cysts on my face. Zero. Spearmint tea is the only thing I owe it to. I'm obsessed with this stuff. It WILL NOT work for everyone. It won't even work for everyone who's acne is hormonal. Do your research. Figure out when in your cycle you're getting your acne. If it's around the time of ovulation, there's a good chance it could be due to high androgen levels. If you think this is the case, try this out for a month. It's worth the cost. It doesn't even taste half bad, and it has tons of other healthy benefits.

Sorry for the novel. I'm just so thankful for this stuff.

I use this because 1. I love tea 2. It tastes yummy and 3. I have an embarrassing female hirsutism problem. I have blonde body hair, but I have so much of it in inappropriate places (hands, feet, stomach, back, face) that I have to shave it once a week. I know some people have more extreme body hair due to PCOS, but I have just enough excessive body hair that it causes low self esteem, but not enough for it to be a serious hormonal problem. I have noticed a massive difference after drinking this tea 2 times daily for a week. My facial hair is thinner and not as noticeable. My hands and feet don't have the same thick hair either. I am very satisfied because this is a natural product.

I bought this for the Gillian Michaels Detox and while I didn't lose some insanely unrealistic amount of weight, I did feel this tea helped with bloating. Also, doesn't taste terrible so I still drink it after I finished the detox when I've eaten bad foods and feel like my tummy needs a little help

I used this tea to see if a) spearmint tea is yummy and b) if it would work to balance out hormone levels. This Traditional Medicine tea suceeded on both accounts. I recently switched to loose leaf tea, though, because it was more cost efficient.

I'm surprised how much it tastes like coffee. To be completely accurate, it tastes like a watered down coffee (like the kind you get at hotels) with hazelnut flavor -- and a *very slight* earthy undertone. If someone gave me a sip and didn't tell me what it was, I'd think it were coffee, let's put it that way.

There's not all that much root per teabag though, and since I like strong coffee I only use 6 oz of water per bag and steep it covered for 15 mins. Then with some cream and sugar it's quite good.

As for the liver tonic claim, well dandelion stimulates bile flow and supposedly helps clear out some stuff gunking up the liver. I don't know about that yet, but so far I haven't noticed any ill effects from drinking this. I feel fine, if not outright good after drinking a cup, but that's as far as I can confirm the effects.

And with even decaf coffee containing 5-15 mg caffeine per serving, this stuff being completely caffeine free is a blessing for those of us who go bananas and light public property on fire when we get the slightest bit of caffeine. Anyone who needs a coffee substitute, do give this a try.
