About the author

"Proven Internet Business Strategies for the Price of a Coffee"
Quality information shouldn't be expensive. The so-called 'Internet gurus' love to charge exorbitant prices; knowing this prevents many average folks from achieving success online. What you need (and what Steve provides) is a variety of detailed strategies -- Each designed to help you solve a specific Internet business obstacle.
Steve writes his books for a variety of Internet entrepreneurs: Nonfiction eBook authors, bloggers, and affiliate marketers. What separates him from other digital publishers is his ability to explain complex topics in a no-nonsense, straightforward manner. He doesn't promise the world. But always delivers step-by-step strategies you can immediately implement.
In his spare time, Steve likes to travel, run marathons, read, and talk about himself in the third person.

As someone who is very new to blogging, this book has helped me immensely. I could have spent the next 12 months, trying to work out ways to increase my followers, and ways to attract readers to my blog, but I don't think much would have changed in that time. My Blog Traffic Sucks, has saved me so much time, and frustration, and now I have clear direction, and understanding of what I need to do in order to increase my traffic.
Steve Scott has been blogging for many years, and has made a success of it. For those reasons alone, I, for one, am going to follow his advice, because this is clearly, how HE did it.
This is NOT a book about making a fortune from your blog, and Steve Scott's focus in this book is traffic generation. I have no doubt though, if you follow the steps and advice in this book, that, as a by-product of these methods, you will make money from your blog site as well.
This book is well written, and Steve Scott has packed a heap of useful information into this eBook. A great read, and a book that would be of value to anyone who is already blogging, and for anyone just starting to blog, this book is essential reading.
First the 2 cons There is a lot of fluff in his book i just made sure not to click on it ,and some of the apps he talks about are outdated .
Now why the book is great. Steve wrote this book fo the blogger who has a 9 to 5 job so you will save time, also there are a lot of traffic books out there on kindle but they usually say try 100 things or 500 things but Steve focuses just on the ones that actually work ,he then tells you how to know which one is working so that you can avoid the ones that dont work.He also gives you many ways to drive traffic since each traffic generation tip may not be for you meaning you may not like it,so you can focus on the ones you feel comfortable with then weed out the ones that dont work at all.
There is so much information in this book you need to take notes and read it like 20 times to make sure you get everything related. So i know its 2017 but, this book is still useful today,i will be implementing a lot what he has inside asap.
Overall, it was a good read and I will read it again in the future when I feel that it applies more to me. If you're just a personal blogger, this may be helpful to you in some respects but it's more directed at people who blog about a specific subject. If you haven't found your subject or niche as he calls it, wait before you read and select another book.
My Blog Traffic Sucks! 8 Simple Steps to Get 100,000 Blog Visitors without Working 8 Days a Week
The book took me by the hand and cured my "paralysis by analysis" syndrome. Before reading the book, I would make project plans that had hundreds of items on my to-do list. The sheer amount of perceived tasks struck me dumb.
Yes, I was using sound marketing principles in my approach. I just couldn't get out of research mode.
The main idea that the book mentions that helped me was Scott's mention of the 80/20 rule. Get 80% of your rewards from 20% of your effort. Following that principle all me to streamline my marketing plan.
Another thing I appreciate about the book is that it is not a get rich quick scheme. He makes no promise to gain 100,000 visitors in a day with nothing more than SEO and a pipe dream. Instead, I received a checklist with 8 simple steps to success through patience and working my 80/20.
Do I have 100,000 visitors since reading the book? NOPE! On the other hand, I am seeing a steady growth in unique visits with more hours in the day for me to live my life.
In the end, I look forward to my blog traffic sucking.
I wasn't going to buy this book, because of a few people's reviews. I am glad I didn't take their advice on this one, because this is worth reading. I am still pretty new to blogging, and some of this stuff I have seen, but a lot of it i realized I don't know what to do with it.
I think this e book is worth getting your hands on, if you have never done a blog or website before this would be an incredible place to start. You will be well on your way to gaining traffic, and I am going to go start right now.
