About the Author
My focus on writing began when I was CFO and Managing Principal of one of Colorado’s largest architectural firms. Fifteen writing awards later I resigned from OZ to follow the yellow brick road, and ten months after that signed a contract for Soliloquy, a HOLT Medallion Award of Merit winner. My next book, Fogg in the Cockpit, a military history co-written with husband Richard, earned a coveted nomination by the Air Force Historical Society for best WWII book reviewed in Air Power History. Speaking of military history, A Manifest Spirit: The 359th Fighter Group 1943-1945, will be released in 2017. What else have I been up to? Managing the 359th Fighter Group’s Facebook page, mentoring, graphic design, consulting with KGA Studio Architects, and volunteering with Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Oh, and more than a modicum of writing, including a brand-spanking new series, starting with Misfortune Annie and the Locomotive Reaper. Co-written with "Gusto" Dave Jackson, this first in the Misfortune Annie series was joined soon after by our new romantic suspense, A Serenade to Die For. "Serenade" features a sultry singer, her hunky ex-boyfriend, his stolen hot rod, a kidnapped father, and the sole-surviving Aztec sword. The chase is on!
