STOP Possible Spoilers..... Thanks:)
Really all three books are safe reads. With each book focusing on hero and heroine's personal and romantic journey. In this book, however, Poppy knows what she has with Emmett but it was more her journey to decide if she wanted the same things, being that she is younger. Emmett came with a lot of baggage and not a lot of good role models. But his obsession with Poppy keeps him loyal. It also helps that along their relationship road blocks they had family help them out, especially at times with their miscommunication...and especially, especially when Emmett starts making some dumb decisions thinking he was protecting Poppy from the ugliness he left behind.
In the end the family, both in and out of the MC club, showed Emmett he was not alone and helped him finally face his past. Helped him break free to move forward with his future with Poppy. Loved the book. Read it on Kindle Unlimited but plan to buy it to re read. Themes include May-Dec, snarky heroine, v-card got punched, mama's boy hero, MC, steamy read, strong sexual language and situations, and lots of humor (sexual in nature at times). Really enjoyed the series, so sad to see it ending but happy I can re read it.
We get a glimpse of all the family members lives and it's great to have a little of them in the Epilogue. Another great book by Bijou and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next time.
