From someone that has read hundreds if not thousands of diet books over the years, I found this approach to be unique. Most diet books give reasons to eat healthy, ideas on how to eat healthy, and provide recipes and menus to make it easier. And most encourage us to consider it a lifestyle rather than a diet. But this is the first I've read that offered guidance on how to PREFER eating healthy. Most of us know the importance of eating healthy and getting exercise, and most of us have good intentions to do so. But just calling it a lifestyle rather than a diet, doesn't stop me from feeling deprived. This one will. Great job!

This is a very short book that is packed with useful information, at least for me it is. It really opened my eyes to a new way of thinking and viewing healthy eating. As someone who is going through a weight loss transformation, trying to lose 30 pounds, I am very happy I found this when I did.
I have been set in my own ways based on how I was raised and how my eating habits have progressed. If I truly want to reach my goals I need to make some changes and really shed those pounds. I work with a personal trainer so I feel like my workout routine is probably pretty solid. I also take the Raspberry Ketones weight loss supplement to help me continue to lose weight. I think I just need to work on my eating habits. I will be implementing some of these tips to get me out of my comfort zone and hopefully ramp up my results! I look forward to it!!!
If you really want to lose weight and get healthier I recommend this book it has really changed my outlook.

Read Drew's book, joined his facebook page and daily emails. Fantastic, informative, life changing. I won't ever go back to eating unhealthy again. He continuously gives you motivation, information, and new recipes. Do yourself and your health a favor and read his books! as he says "We are in this together!"

I think the book provides very sound and what I like to think as "foundational" advice. I didn't learn anything new from the book but it was a nice quick reminder of some of the basics. It would have been nice if the book provided a more extensive list of menu ideas or juicing recipes, especially for the Alpha Reset. I'm just introducing juicing into my Lifestyle so trying to learn all the key elements. The section where Drew breaks down the vegetables and fruits into categories was very helpful! I need a better juicer as the one I have does not do well with the leafy vegetables!!

Drew's book is quick and to the point. The food suggestions go very close in line with Tim Ferriss' '4 Hour Body'.

Some of his points use evolutionary reasoning as their foundation, which are completely unfounded in science (or disagreeable if you prefer to have a good debate on the subject). However you explain the points backstories, the end result of them seems sound.

The food choices will seem disgusting to the average person, but the many results submitted to users of it with 4 Hour Body speak for themselves. Does it take 21 days to make/break a habit? That is the assumption of many books and speakers, but it's not as accurate as many believe.

The juicing recipes are what's really worth the book's purchase price. It's hard to believe that the amount of normally icky foods mixed with a couple apples can make something that drinkable! That is the reason for the 5 stars, thanks Drew!

I only lasted two weeks on this before I decided on my own to get myself right. Since then I have minimized sugar in my life greatly. Book gave great ideas but I was losing energy in the gym. I don't think you can follow this plan to the letter while weight training and cardio 4 to 5 times per week. Then again maybe I was doing something wrong...Many of the things I ate that normally gave me energy in the gym was forbidden during this time. Either way...this book did set me on a better path.

This book is short, sweet and simple enough to follow. The information Drew shares with you makes sense and is doable. While reading the book I felt encouraged to make changes right then on the spot. I decided to make those changes by adding to my diet and of course making substitutions. In addition, I love his idea of using the term "defer" instead of "deny." A simple switch that makes complete sense and also adds to the doable quality of what Drew is teaching.

Definitely worth the try, especially because it is a short and simple read.
