I just got done reading issue 4 and this one is by far my favorite to see how the Decepticons are willing to achieve victory is insane but to use one of their own to achieve their plans is just crazy if even they will do that but it is still crazy to see. While also I definitely love the take on how both Carly and Cliffjumper are bonding and becoming somewhat of friends. Lastly I was definitely speechless when I saw Optimus with Megatron’s arm and then seeing Megatron in the snow too just a great way to end the issue 4 and I can’t wait to read issue 5 soon.

Lots of exploration of fragility and vulnerability, really cuts to a lot of what makes the transformers characters work…the intense selflessness of Optimus, the ruthless, sadistic Darwinism of the decepticons… my one complaint is the transformation shots, as cool as they are, are visually confusing as they look static, as if they are stuck half transformed with their robo-innards exposed instead of the middle of the process of transformation.
