Now for all you transfans, if you own a dragon former, or the origional predaking combiner you could be disappointed, this figure is a better dragon than he is at living up to the name of Predaking, at least figure wise, the show makes him look good, but I digress. His dragon mode isn't as involved as the voyager class of this figure, but everything else is way better: his wings are better, his colors are better, and even his crossbow type flame launchers are better than the weird dragon heads that turn into guns on the last figure. His joints are ratchety, his robot design is great. His legs are a little wierd to get his to stand, but it can be done, his dragon flame light up gimmick only works if you hold it down, it would be nice to have to sound with that, but oh well, I can deal with it. He suffers from kibble armor-itous, which basically is they have these shoulder and knee pieces that get in the way sometimes, the knee armor comes off like beast hunters unicron, kind of annoying.
I own 9...?....dragon formers, they have lances, arm shields, little axes, one giant axe, this guy, has a sword, and it is. I would rank this figure 2nd place maybe 3rd compared to my other dragon formers so recommended...definitely. Now for my ending point: the original predaking was over 2 pounds of transformer, 5 red black and orange animals which had good robot modes, beast modes, and combined to make arguably one of the greatest combiners of all time. This guy pulls of two decent modes, but has a fraction of the street cred, so hasbro could have given him a different name. Lastly, this is the first time I've seen hasbro release 3 figures of the same name, in the same series, and slowly upgrade them, predaking and optimus prime got this treatment, and I think its ridiculous. *slaps back of hand* NO! You do not do that! That is not okay! All in all this was a great buy, I don't regret it, I regret buying the voyager class one first two months before I found out about this one. Thanks for reading, I hope this helped you out.
