This books talks about what it means to be transgender and religious. In it, a number of trans people tell their personal stories and their experiences with religion. The last section contains prayers, scripture reading, and hymns for and about trans stuff, including rites for name changes and transitions that could be used in church services. As a trans man of faith, I could relate to the stories & loved the prayers that pertained to me.

This book might serve an individual who's making this journey. On the other hand, it did not suffice when I used it in a graduate seminar on LGBT spirituality. It mostly has the flavor of 'Jesus loves me and I'm trans,'which I find less than satisfying or sufficient.
