What makes Transitioning Your Aging Parent so special is the senior-focused approach of the A.D.A.P.T. method espoused in the book. What makes the book so effective is its concise presentation. This is a book you can literally read in one sitting but then refer back to on numerous occasions as questions arise. I recommend this book as a foundational planning tool for how best to serve senior loved ones.
Michael Allard, Director of Operations, Principal Senior Living Group, [...]
In it, Dale shares with us her entry into caring for her senior mom, the steps she analyzed and implemented in her family to help her senior mom transition to a safer living situation, and a wide variety of tips and resources to help others who are caring for elderly parents currently or will be down the road.
It's so important to do pre-planning for such a time, rather than waiting until you're in the midst of the situation and realize you don't have the vital contact information, medical numbers, documents, etc. you need to help your senior parents.
This book is a great way to start, if you haven't already done so. And for those, like me, who are already in the trenches of caring for elderly parents, it's full of great resources for us as well.
