As a professional astrologer that has taught astrology incommunity centres and schools for over 14 years, I am always lookingfor books that will give my students a understanding of astrology! Many transit books tend to treat the subject as a sort of "ingredient list" -- no Lundsted's book!
Drawn from years of professional experience as a consulting astrologer, her insights and writing style give the reader "real life" interpretations, without having to go through boring case studies!

Betty Lundsted succinctly shares her knowledge, thoughts, experiences, perceptions and feelings without one speck of high-faluting terminology or mumbo jumbo, which seems to pepper the pages of many astrology books I've read over the years.

I consistently refer to Betty's little gem of a book, which has been most helpful to me on my journey.

I believe Betty is a gifted astrologer with an amazing grasp of the genre.

Ultimately, I adore her down-to-earth style and wanted more, more, more!

Thank you, Betty.

I happend upon this transit book at a local NCGR meeting from a fellow astrology buff. I wonder if she realized that this book got caught up in the boxes of sellables? I seriously doubt it, because I will not let this one go. Everyone goes though their own life and Transits. Some Astrology books approach Transits in such a dictionary-like way, not this one. Another of my favorites, she shares transits in a very personal way. I never read her works before this one. I am definatly going to look for her other books as well, love her writing style.

There are better offerings on the market to cover the subject of transits, perhaps the best being Robert Hand's highly-acclaimed Planets in Transit. This book refers to wide orbs as "trigger points" and deals very little with angular timing, which many professionals feel is key to predictive astrology.

I'm sorry but this has been the most useless transit book I've ever bought. It by no means gives enough examples of the different ways that particular transits can manifest. I consider it very amateurish and extremely limited in scope.
I made a disasterous mistake in my life some years ago, which I would NEVER have made had I been equipped with a better transit book at the time, such as - "Transits Simplified" by Frances Sakoian & Louis S. Acker (- which is the best, most valuable transit book ever and I will eternally regret that I didn't have their book at that time)
